Acxiom (NASDAQ: ACXM) announced the appointment of Jena Compton as senior vice president of human resources, worldwide. Compton joined Acxiom in 2000. She most recently served as the company’s vice president of human resources and director of employment compliance. She replaces Cindy Childers, who retired after 27 years of service to the company.
Martin Health System has appointed Angie Metcalf as vice president and chief human resources officer. Metcalf, who has been with Martin Health since 2005, has more than 20 years of human resources experience. She has worked in a variety of fields, ranging from health care to financial services and telecommunication, including roles with four Fortune 500 companies – GE Capital, Contel, Ryder System and Spherion Corporation. Metcalf began her tenure at Martin Health as manager of learning and organizational development, before being promoted to corporate director of human resources in 2006. She assumed the role of assistant vice president of human resources in May 2012, following the departure of former vice president and chief human resources officer, Amy Barry.
The Original HoneyBaked Ham Company of Georgia, Inc. has named Michael Esposito to the newly-created position of vice president, human resources. Most recently, Esposito was with The Home Depot where he served as director of associate relations for the company’s northern division.
RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. announced the appointment of Robin Corralez as Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining RoadSafe, Corralez served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Vertis Communications.
Centerplate has announced the addition of Roy Arnold to the newly created position of Chief Talent Officer. A lifelong leader, Arnold was past President and CEO of Arlington Park International Racecourse, and previously had a highly successful military career in the United States Marine Corps, including command of Marine aviation in Iraq.
Rocket Fuel announced that Derek Sidebottom has joined the company as Vice President of People. With over 15 years experience in human resources, Sidebottom previously served as Chief People Officer at leading games company Kabam. Prior to Kabam, Sidebottom served as Vice President of Human Resources at Electronic Arts and Director of HR at Corel. He started his career as a Senior Compensation and Benefits Advisor at Alcatel/Lucent.
