Tribune Company announced the appointment of Melanie Hughes as Executive Vice President/Human Resources. Since August 2012, Hughes has led her own consulting practice, Org4Change. Prior to Org4Change, she served three-plus years as Chief Administration Officer for Gilt Groupe. Before her work with Gilt, Hughes was SVP/Human Resources at COACH. From 2000 to 2005, Hughes oversaw human resources for the digital advertising giant DoubleClick.
Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA) announced Terrance Collins has been named senior vice president, human resources. Prior to joining Zebra, Mr. Collins served as the vice president of human resources for the Health & Science Technologies Segment at IDEX Corporation. Terrance previously served as the senior vice president of human resources for AmSan LLC, and in several positions of increasing responsibility for U.S. Foodservice, Inc.
Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE: NSC) announced the promotion of Juan K. Cunningham, who is currently assistant vice president executive, to the role of vice president human resources. Cindy C. Earhart, currently vice president human resources, will become executive vice president administration.
