Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) announced the appointment of Bridgett Paradise as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief People Officer. Paradise joins HMH from Microsoft Corp., where she most recently held the role of General Manager, Human Resources for the Worldwide Services division, and has extensive experience in HR strategy, recruitment, organizational development and business analysis developed over her twenty-year tenure at Microsoft, including several senior roles at national and international level. Previously, Paradise led human resources at Government Technology Systems Integrations (GTSI).
Shutterfly, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFLY) announced it has appointed Gautam Srivastava as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Most recently he was SVP of Human Resources and Marketing for LSI Corp. Prior to LSI, Srivastava held numerous roles at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., including vice president, sales and marketing and managing director, Middle East Africa and Pakistan; vice president, sales and marketing, and chief of staff to the chief sales and marketing officer; and vice president, compensation and benefits. Prior to AMD, Srivastava was a principal at Mercer Human Resources Consulting. He has also held human resources, finance, and business development positions at several start-ups.
Aquilent has named Brook Carlon as Chief Human Resources (HR) Officer. Before joining Aquilent, Ms. Carlon served in senior and executive roles at QuadraMed, Headstrong, Misys Healthcare, Cirrus Logic and other global companies.
Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. has appointed Bart Kelly as its new vice president of human resources. Prior to joining Maxim, Kelly served as the director of financial operations at Aerotek, Allegis Group Inc.’s largest operating company. Prior to Aerotek, Kelly served in senior leadership roles for HFS Benefits, the Mather Companies, and T. Rowe Price.
Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) announced that Kimberly Admire will join SAIC as its new chief human resources officer, effective Aug. 11. Admire will succeed Brian Keenan, who joined SAIC’s former parent in 2000 and has been the company’s chief human resources officer since 2007. Admire worked most recently as vice president of Culture, Diversity and Equal Opportunity Programs with Lockheed Martin Corp. During the course of her 16-year career with Lockheed Martin, Admire served in many key leadership positions.
