Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) [STAMFORD, Conn.] announced that Paul Marchand will join the Company as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Marchand joins Charter after nearly 12 years with PepsiCo, most recently as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the North America Beverages Field and Supply Chain organization. Marchand held multiple other leadership positions at PepsiCo including Senior Vice President and Head of Global Talent Acquisition and Deployment of PepsiCo, Vice President of Human Resources for the PepsiCo Foodservice Business, as well as Senior Director of Human Resources for the Pepsi-Cola sales organization including Retail Sales, Foodservice Sales and PepsiCo Customer Team Sales. Marchand’s experience also includes human resources roles at Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan and the May Department Stores Company.
Alcoa (NYSE: AA) [NEW YORK] announced that Vas Nair, Chief Talent and Diversity Officer, is appointed Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability. Nair succeeds Roy Harvey who was named President of Global Primary Products. Nair joined Alcoa in February 2015 as Chief Talent Officer and later assumed global responsibility for diversity and inclusion. Most recently, she was VP of Global Learning and Talent Development at Estee Lauder and VP and Chief Learning Officer at Schering-Plough.
Satellite Healthcare [SAN JOSE, Calif.] announced it has appointed Estrella Parker Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Parker comes to Satellite Healthcare after a decade with The Clorox Company, where as a member of the Human Resources Executive Team she most recently served as Senior Director, HR Global Solutions and HR Global Business Partnership. Prior to joining The Clorox Company she served as Vice President, Human Resources and Human Resources Transformation Program Integration at Kaiser Permanente; and National Director, Strategic Change at The Prudential Insurance Co.
SunEdison, Inc. (NYSE: SUNE) [BELMONT, Calif.] announced that Stephen Cerrone has been named SunEdison chief human resources officer. Cerrone has extensive executive experience, most recently at Hudson’s Bay Company, where he led Human Resources and Communications. Prior to that he was executive vice president of Human Resources at Sara Lee Corporation. Before joining Sara Lee, he served as executive vice president of Human Resources for Retail Financial Services at JPMorgan/Bank One Corporation, and has also held prior executive positions at Bank One, Diageo/Burger King and General Foods Worldwide.
Pilgrim Quality Solutions [TAMPA, Fla.] announced the appointment of Nicole DeBourg to Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Pilgrim, she was president of InPocket HR Consulting, LLC, a boutique HR consulting firm. She also was Global Director of HR for CONMED Corporation. She also served as Vice President of Human Resources for US Foodservice.
