Ruby Tuesday, Inc. [MARYVILLE, TN] (NYSE: RT) announced the appointment of Tom Williams to the position of Chief People Officer. Most recently, Mr. Williams held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer for Jo-Ann Stores. Prior to that, Mr. Williams worked for Walmart in a variety of Human Resources, Finance and operational roles.
2U, Inc. [LANDOVER, Md.] (NASDAQ: TWOU) announced that Coretha Rushing, senior vice president and chief people officer at Equifax, has been nominated by 2U’s board of directors to stand for election as a director. Rushing has served as head of human resources for Equifax, since 2006. Prior to Equifax, she served in several senior human resources roles for the Coca-Cola Company. Rushing also was the director of human resources for the Midwest division of Pizza Hut and worked at IBM in several human resources management positions.
Dealogic [NEW YORK] announced that Emma Winterson-Hayward is its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Before joining Dealogic, Winterson-Hayward was interim Head of HR at Dunnhumby, having spent the previous 6 years at the European HR for Vistaprint.
News America Marketing (NAM) [NEW YORK] announced that Heidi Gray, previously the EVP, Sales, Central Division, has been named the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer. She started her career at NAM in the sales development program in 1992. She was promoted in 2000 to Senior Vice President of the Eastern Region. In 2003, Heidi was selected to captain the HR Priority Committee. In 2008, Heidi assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Central Region and in 2014 was promoted to Executive Vice President, Central Division and joined the NAM Executive Committee.
The Marcus Corporation [MILWAUKEE] (NYSE: MCS) announced the appointment of John E. Murray as vice president of human resources. Prior to joining The Marcus Corporation, he was a shareholder at the law firm of Lindner & Marsack in Milwaukee, Wis. for seven years. He has also practiced labor with several other law firms including Cooke & Franke, S.C. and Krukowski & Costello, S.C.
Stout Risius Ross [CHICAGO] announced that Simon Heaton has joined the firm as its new Chief Senior Talent Officer. Prior to joining SRR, Heaton was Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Barclays. Before Barclays he was Senior Director of Global Recruiting for Walmart, where he held roles in Hong Kong, Canada and the U.S.
