Yext [NEW YORK, NY] announced the addition of Brian “Skip” Schipper as Chief People Officer. He joins Yext from Twitter. Prior to his work at Twitter, he was Chief People Officer at Groupon. Skip previously led human resources at Cisco. He has held senior HR positions at Microsoft, DoubleClick, PepsiCo, and Compaq; he started his HR career at Harris Corporation. Schipper also serves on the Board of Directors for both Verified Person, Inc. and DHI Group, Inc.
Starz [BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.] (NASDAQ: STRZA, STRZB) announced the hire of Pamela Wolfe as Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Wolfe most recently served as Chief People Officer for Eleventh Hour Entertainment. Prior to Eleventh Hour, Pamela spent more than a decade leading the Human Resources team at Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Prior to CAA, Wolfe held executive posts at Team One Advertising and EMI-Capitol Music Group and began her HR career at the Walt Disney Company.
Universal Music Group [SANTA MONICA, Calif.] announced that Gautam Srivastava has been appointed Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Before joining UMG, Srivastava was Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at Shutterfly, Inc. Prior to Shutterfly, from 2009 to 2014, Srivastava was Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at LSI Corp. From 2004 to 2008, Srivastava held several roles at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Prior to AMD, Srivastava was a Principal at Mercer Human Resources Consulting and earlier in his career, worked in several start-ups and in management consulting.
