Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) announced that Tim Huval has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. A 10-year veteran of Bank of America, Huval served most recently as the bank’s Senior Vice President for Consumer Service and Operations. He also served as Human Resources Executive and as Chief Information Officer for Bank of America’s global investment management group and as Operations Executive for its Global Card Services division. Huval replaces Bonnie Hathcock, the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer from 1999 to 2012, who retired Dec. 31.
The University of Alaska announced that Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Donald Smith is returning to the position of executive director of labor and employee relations (LER). The University also announced that the appointment of Associate Vice President of Budget Michelle Rizk as interim chief human resources officer. Rizk will continue her responsibilities with her budget position, as well as taking on the CHRO duties. Rizk first served as the fiscal officer for the Statewide Office of Information Technology, where her duties included financial management and strategic planning. She joined the Statewide Office of Planning and Budget in 2006 as the director of budget and was promoted to her current position, associate vice-president of budget in 2008. Her current responsibilities include working with the campuses to develop the University of Alaska System’s operating and capital budgets.
C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. has named Angie Freeman to the position of vice president of Human Resources. Prior to this position, Freeman was vice president for Investor Relations and Public Affairs.In addition to her new role, Freeman continues to serve as president of the C.H. Robinson Foundation which was established in 2005 to provide philanthropic support to communities. She also is a board member and chair of Community Health Charities of Minnesota.
Constellation Brands Inc. (NYSE: STZ) W. Keith Wilson, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Administrative Officer of Constellation Brands, Inc. announced that he would retire from the Company on or about June 14, 2013. Mr. Wilson will continue in his current role until his retirement date.
Serco Inc. announced that Candy Curtin has been named as the Senior Vice President of the Human Resources (HR) department. Curtin has been with Serco for over 12 years and has over 20 years of HR experience in the government and commercial sector. Prior to joining Serco, she served as head of HR for the State Department Credit Union.
