Macy’s, Inc. [CINCINNATI] (NYSE: M) announced the appointment of Danielle Kirgan as chief human resources officer. Kirgan was most recently senior vice president, People, at American Airlines and prior to that, chief human resources officer at Darden Restaurants. Kirgan has also held leadership roles in human resources for ConAgra Foods, W.W. Grainger and TeleTech Holdings.
Invuity, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] (NASDAQ: IVTY) announced the appointment of Marcia Fish as Chief Human Resources Officer. Ms. Fish was most recently the Chief Human Resources Officer for Marlin Equity Partners, a private equity firm. Prior to that, Ms. Fish spent 21 years at General Electric (GE) in roles of increasing responsibility, including serving as Human Resources lead for several US and ex-US businesses.

Marilyn Miller
Anaplan [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Marilyn Miller has joined the company as its first Chief People Officer (CPO). Before joining Anaplan, Miller served at CPO at Alfresco Software, where she led the global HR team. Prior to that, Miller held leadership positions at Quotient Technology, URS/AECOM, BMC Software, and Cisco Systems Inc.
LogicSource [NORWALK, Conn.] announced that Jelena Brown has been appointed Chief Talent Officer. Brown joins LogicSource® from Deloitte, LLP, where she held various leadership positions over the course of her 11 year tenure with the firm. Most recently, she was responsible for building talent development in one of Deloitte’s most complex business functions. Brown began her career at the organization as a consultant.

Yvonne M. Surowiec
Valley National Bank [WAYNE, N.J.], the wholly-owned subsidiary of Valley National Bancorp (NYSE: VLY) announced the appointment of Yvonne M. Surowiec to Executive Vice President – Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Prior to joining the bank, she held the position of CHRO for CDK Global.
