Rite Aid Corporation [CAMP HILL, Pa.] (NYSE: RAD) announced that Ken Black, Rite Aid’s current group vice president of compensation, benefits and shared services, has been named senior vice president and chief human resources officer. He is succeeding Dedra N. Castle, who is leaving the company for personal health reasons. Black joined Rite Aid in 2003 as the company’s vice president of tax. He held various positions within the finance department throughout his career at Rite Aid before being named group vice president of compensation and benefits in 2010. Prior to joining Rite Aid, Black was a senior tax manager for Deloitte. He also held various corporate tax positions for Union Pacific Corporation and NBC.

Will OBrien
Angie’s List [INDIANAPOLIS] (NASDAQ: ANGI) named Will OBrien as Chief Human Resources Officer. O’Brien was previously in senior executive HR roles with Equifax, Wolters Kluwer, Philips Health Systems and General Mills.
TruGreen [MEMPHIS, Tenn.] announced that Wendy Radtke joined as senior vice president of Human Resources and CHRO. That experience includes vice president-level roles at both The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and Honeywell International. Most recently, she served as senior vice president and CHRO at The Babcock and Wilcox Company.

Jerry Jenkins
Edgile [AUSTIN, TX] announced the addition of Jerry Jenkins to its executive team as the Chief Human Resources Officer. Jenkins joins Edgile from PayPal where he was Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to PayPal, Jenkins held senior leadership roles in Human Resources at eBay, including Global Talent Acquisition, and directing the development and implementation of its HR Shared Services organization in the Americas.
Valley Presbyterian Hospital [VAN NUYS, Calif.] welcomed Deborah Gac as its new Vice President of Human Resources. Previously, Ms. Gac served as Director of Human Resources at Providence Health and Services. She also served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at City of Hope in Duarte, Calif., and held various roles at Scripps Health in San Diego.
