Newell Brands Inc. [HOBOKEN, NJ] (NYSE: NWL) announced that Fiona C. Laird, the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer has departed the company. Bradford R. Turner, currently Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, will assume broadened responsibility as Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company, retaining his current responsibility for legal and governance matters, while adding responsibility for Human Resources and Corporate Security.

Murali Kuppuswamy
Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. [ESTERO, Fla.] (NYSE: HTZ) announced that Murali Kuppuswamy will join as executive vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO). Kuppuswamy will start on September 12. Kuppuswamy worked for Baker Hughes (recently acquired by General Electric) for close to six years in various senior HR leadership roles in the US, Europe, Africa and Russia Caspian, and most recently served as CHRO. Prior to that, he worked for nearly 20 years at General Electric in various HR leadership positions including GE Global Research, GE Capital and GE Lighting divisions in the U.S and India.

Bryan Scofield
Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) [NEW ORLEANS] announced the promotion of Bryan Scofield to Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Since joining Pan-American Life in 2000 Mr. Scofield has played a leading role in the integration of several new companies into the PALIG organization. Prior to joining Pan-American Life, he served as Director of Benefits and Compensation at Hancock Bank in Gulfport in Mississippi.
