Box, Inc. [Redwood City, CA] (NYSE: BOX) announced the appointment of Christy Lake as the company’s chief people officer. Ms. Lake began her career in staffing roles for both Bain & Company and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young before moving to The Home Depot. While at The Home Depot, Ms. Lake led the corporate staffing team, acted as chief of staff for the EVP of HR and led the HR mergers and acquisitions team. Following The Home Depot, Ms. Lake moved to HP where after eight years in various HR leadership roles of increasing responsibility, she became the head of HR for HP Software. She was directly responsible for HR consultancy, workforce planning, talent management, total rewards, and learning and development for the Software organization encompassing 13,000 employees. Most recently, Ms. Lake led the People and Culture organization at Medallia.
Foster Farms [Livingston, California] announced that Curtis LaClaire joined as Chief Human Resources Officer. Curtis was at Honeywell International where for the past fifteen years has held a number of strategic Human Resources positions. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Human Resources for Commercial Aviation located in Phoenix, Az.
Valvoline Inc. [LEXINGTON, Ky.] (NYSE: VVV) announced that Brad Patrick will join the company on Jan. 22 as its chief people and communications officer. Patrick held senior HR leadership roles at the Sara Lee Corp., The Gillette Co. (Procter & Gamble Co.), Delta Air Lines Inc. and Frito-Lay Inc. Most recently, he was chief HR officer at Tempur Sealy International and Shearer’s Snacks.
Viacom Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: VIAB, VIA) announced that Fukiko Ogisu has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. Ogisu joined Viacom in 2008, serving most recently as Senior Vice President, HR Business Operations and Information Solutions. Prior to joining Viacom, Ogisu spent more than a decade at Microsoft in various product and business roles across the company.
Nutanix® [SAN JOSE, Calif.] (NASDAQ: NTNX) announced that it has named Aaron Bean as Chief Human Resources Officer. Bean most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources at Skyhigh Networks. Prior to Skyhigh, he led the human resources function for Aruba Networks, before its eventual sale to Hewlett Packard. Before joining Aruba, Bean ran the human resources function for Juniper Networks’ Security group. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Services at Alteon WebSystems.
Valassis [LIVONIA, Mich.] announced the appointment of Cindy Walker to Senior Vice President, Human Resources. She became Vice President of Human Resources for Valassis in 2015. Walker has more than 15 years of human resources experience, including senior leadership roles at The Suburban Collection, a network of automotive dealers, Comcast and Ford Motor Company.
Freddie Mac [MCLEAN, VA] (OTCQB: FMCC) announced that Jacqueline M. Welch has been named head of the Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion (HRDI) division and chief diversity officer (CDO) of Freddie Mac. Welch joined Freddie Mac in December 2016. Prior to Freddie Mac, she served as senior vice president of international human resources for Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta.
River City Bank [SACRAMENTO, CALIF.] announced Amii Barnard-Bahn as newly appointed Senior Vice President, Director of Human Resources. Prior to joining the River City Bank team, Barnard-Bahn provided executive coaching, human resources, and compliance consulting services for large corporate and small business clientele as principal of Barnard-Bahn Consulting and Coaching.
Dawn Food Products, Inc. [JACKSON, Mich.] named Stevens J. Sainte-Rose as the company’s Chief HR & Transformation Officer. Sainte-Rose comes to Dawn Foods from Walgreens Boots Alliance Corporation, where he served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Walgreens division. Previously, Sainte-Rose spent a decade at The Coca-Cola Company across multiple global roles, his last three years as Senior VP of Coca-Cola International. He also served in HR roles at Aramark Corporation, Pier 1 Imports, Burger King and Millennium Hotels & Resorts.
