G5 [BEND, Ore.] announced the appointment of Lisa Calvert as their first Chief People Officer. Calvert’s most recent role was as the SVP (CHRO) and Facilities for Getty Images, where she was a global head of 40+ offices worldwide.
Saint-Gobain [MALVERN, Pa.] announced the appointment of Valerie Gervais as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Saint-Gobain Corporation (Saint-Gobain’s North American holding company). Gervais will be relocating to Saint-Gobain’s North American headquarters in Malvern, Pa., from Paris, France, where she was responsible for human resources for Saint-Gobain Glass U.S. and human resources for Saint-Gobain ADFORS and Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics within the Innovative Materials Sector globally. In addition to her new position in North America, she will continue to support the global Performance Plastics business, reporting to James Thomson, Vice President of Human Resources for Saint-Gobain’s Innovative Materials Sector. Gervais started her Saint-Gobain career seven years ago as Vice President of Development and Recruitment for Saint-Gobain in North America. Prior to that, Gervais held the positions of Director of Global Talent Management (2007) and Director of Leadership & Organizational Development (2001) for GlaxoSmithKline.
Tapad [NEW YORK] appointed Lauren Laitman to serve as the SVP of people. Prior to Tapad, Laitman served as VP of human resources at Collibra. Over the course of her career, Laitman has held senior HR positions at several leading technology companies, including Google, Zeta Interactive, Collective and DoubleClick.
Top Hat [TORONTO] announced that it has appointed Jesper Bendtsen as its first Chief People Officer. Bendtsen joins Top Hat from WilsonHCG, where as EVP of Operations. Prior to that role, he was Head of Global Recruiting at Uber and VP of Global Go-to-Market Recruiting at Salesforce.
