Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) announced that Peter C. Stern, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, will assume additional responsibility as Chief People Officer and leader of Corporate Development. Mr. Stern assumes responsibility for Human Resources functions from Tom Mathews, who is leaving the company for personal reasons.
Remedi SeniorCare the appointment of Michael Bruno, who will serve as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Bruno has held senior-level positions with many global brands, including PepsiCo where he was the vice president of Human Resources, as well within General Electric Company’s exclusive 28-person Global Human Resources Management Program. Most recently, Bruno served as the senior vice president, head of global human resources with social media company Buddy Media.
Modine Manufacturing Company (NYSE: MOD) announced that Brian Agen has been named Vice President, Human Resources. Agen has been a member of Modine’s Human Resources organization since joining the company in 1996. He has assumed multiple positions of increasing responsibility at Modine, most recently, Director, Global Human Resources and Organizational Development, a position he has held since April 2011. Prior to joining Modine, Agen held the position of Operations Manager for the recruiting firm, Norrell Services.
Saint-Gobain has announced the appointment of Susan Nutson as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Saint-Gobain Corporation (Saint-Gobain’s North American holding company). Nutson has extensive experience leading Human Resources organizations in multinational companies, including the Carrier Corporation (United Technologies), Tower Automotive and the Ford Motor Company. Most recently, she was Vice President of Human Resources at Atkore International (previously a division of Tyco International).
Books-A-Million, Inc. (NASDAQ: BAMM) announced the appointment of Mary Jane Karwoskias Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Books-A-Million, she worked for Blockbuster, Inc. as a Regional Director of Operations and most notably with Borders Group as Director of Human Resources and Regional Sales Director. Additionally, she has worked for Jamba Juice as a Regional Director of Operations and Franchise Leader where she was responsible for supporting franchise partners in the Midwest.
