GE (NYSE: GE) announced the appointment of Susan P. Peters as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, succeeding John Lynch, who is retiring. Immelt also announced that Raghu Krishnamoorthy, Vice President of Human Resources for GE Aviation, will succeed Peters as head of Executive Development and Chief Learning Officer for GE, and that Ernest W. Marshall, Jr., Global Human Resources leader for Aviation Systems, will succeed Krishnamoorthy as Vice President of Human Resources for GE Aviation. The appointments are effective August 1, 2013.
Lindenwood University appointed Dr. Deb Ayres to the position of vice president for human resources. Ayres will replace Dr. Rick Boyle, who is retiring from the post at the end of August. Boyle was the first to hold the post, which was created in 2007. Ayres has been chair of the Educational Leadership Department in the School of Education since 2008. She has also worked as a human resources management consultant since 2000 and was assistant superintendent for human resources for the Kirkwood School District from 1990 to 2008.
Tufts University announced the appointment of Linda Cataldo as the Vice President for Human Resources. Cataldo was at Tufts as Director of Human Resources for the Health Sciences campuses from 2002 through 2005. Most recently Linda served as Principal for LEC Human Resource and Organization Development Consulting. From 2005 through 2009, Linda held the position of Director of Human Resources at WGBH Educational Foundation.
Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island announced the appointment of Ellie Harrison to the post of Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Harrison joins BCBSRI from Citigroup in New York where she served as senior human resources advisor for its global consumer banking division for four years. Prior to Citigroup, Harrison oversaw human resources for Fidelity Investments’ personal investing division in New England. Harrison also served as the vice president of human resources for HealthSource, Inc.
