Trulia, Inc. (NYSE: TRLA) announced the appointment of Elizabeth Brown as Trulia’s Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Trulia, Elizabeth spent two years at LinkedIn leading their International Human Resource team for Global Sales and Operations. Previously, she held several HR leadership positions at Microsoft Corporation and Intuit.
Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ: TXN) announced the appointment of Samantha Dwinell as vice president of talent management for human resources. Dwinell joined TI in 2000 and has held several positions within human resources, most recently as director of recruiting and development. She has also held director positions in human resources for the wireless business unit and for Texas Instruments France.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (NASDAQ: RRGB) announced the appointment of Cathy Cooney as senior vice president and Chief People Officer. Before joining Red Robin, Cooney served as executive vice president of Human Resources for Carefusion, spearheading global HR following medical technology company’s spinoff from Cardinal Health, Inc., a Fortune 20 healthcare leader where she served as senior vice president of human resources. Prior to her 14-year career in the healthcare industry, Cooney served in several HR roles of increasing responsibility over an eight-year span for Pepsico, Inc., including senior director of Human Resources for Pepsico Food Systems and benefits leader for Frito-Lay, Inc.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota announced the appointment of Paula Phillippe as senior vice president of human resources, communications and community relations. Phillippe comes to Blue Cross from Minneapolis-based Fairview Health Systems, where as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Prior to Fairview, she served as senior vice president, chief human resources and communications officer for Marquette Financial Companies. Phillippe’s experience also includes human resources leadership positions with Piper Jaffray and RBC Dain Rauscher.
HanesBrands (NYSE: HBI) announced the appointment of Elizabeth L. Burger to the position of chief human resources officer. Burger joins HanesBrands from Monsanto Company, where she was vice president of human resources for global business operations. Burger succeeds Kevin W. Oliver, who led the recruitment of Burger as his successor and will retire as planned after a short transition period. He joined HanesBrands as the leader of human resources in 2005.
