Archway announced that it has added Jacqueline Punch as the company’s chief human resources officer. Punch led human resources as the senior vice president of human resources at Marshall Field’s (previously owned by Target Corp, then Macy’s). She also gained experience at G&K Services where she was the SVP of HR for more than five years. Most recently, Punch was president of Punch HR Consulting, LLC.
Heartland Financial USA, Inc. (NASDAQ: HTLF) announced that Mark G. Murtha has joined the company as Executive Vice President – Human Resources. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Enterprise Bank & Trust. His experience includes executive positions in human resources with MetLife/General American Life as well as recruiting positions with ARAMARK Corporation/Spectrum Healthcare.
MedSolutions announced the appointment of TJ Fjelseth as senior vice president of human resources. Fjelseth joins MedSolutions from Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania (BCNEPA) where he served as vice president of human resources. In addition to BCNEPA, he previously held positions at Convergys, Beverly Healthcare, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, The Leadership Factor, Texas Health Resources and the Public Service Company of New Mexico.
WellPoint, Inc. (NYSE: WLP) announced that Jose Tomas has been named executive vice president and chief human resources officer, effective December 2, 2013. Tomas replaces Randy Brown who announced earlier this year that he would retire at the end of December. Prior to joining WellPoint, Tomas served as Global Chief People Officer and President, Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) for Burger King Corporation (BKC). Prior to joining BKC in 2004, Tomas held various field and corporate human resources positions with Ryder System Inc. and Publix Super Markets.
Lockton‘s Denver operation announced the addition of Shellie Weber as Vice President, Human Resources. Most recently, Weber served as an Associate Vice President with TriZetto Corporation where she specialized in leading a team of Human Resource business partners.
Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: SWKS) announced that George M. LeVan will retire from his service as Vice President, Human Resources in connection with a planned reduction in his commitments. Mr. LeVan will assist the Registrant in a non-executive role to effect a smooth transition of duties.
Information Services Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: III) announced that Harold K. Somerdyk, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources & Communications Officer, has tendered his resignation, effective as of December 31, 2013.
