Reputation.com announced that Colleen McCreary has joined as the company’s first Chief People Officer. McCreary retired this year from social gaming services provider Zynga as its Chief People Officer. Previously, McCreary worked in progressively responsible human resources roles at Electronic Arts and Microsoft.
Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE: TWC) announced that it has appointed Alan Lui as Senior Vice President of Human Resources.Previous to this appointment, Mr. Lui was Senior Vice President of Human Resources Centers of Expertise. He joined Time Warner Cable in 2011 as Group Vice President of Video Strategy. Prior to joining TWC, Lui co-founded Nove Technologies, a startup focused on applying high-temperature superconductor technology to electric power distribution.
CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) announced that Steve Mirante has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Mirante previously served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for CBS Corporation. Mirante joined CBS in October 2005. Prior to working at CBS Corporation, Mirante held a number of senior executive positions with various firms. This includes the position of Eastern Retirement Practice Leader of Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Mirante also served as the Senior Vice President of CIGNA’s Retirement and Investment Services Division Advisory Service group. Mirante was also the National Retirement Practice Leader and New Jersey Managing Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Unifi Network.
Symphony Teleca announced that it has appointed Subash A K Rao, a global human resources executive as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Rao worked extensively at Cisco, Cummins, GE Capital and Tata Motors, both in functional and business leadership roles. Most recently, he led the HR function for Cisco Systems in India. Prior to joining Cisco, Rao was based in Minneapolis, where he was the HR leader for Cummins Power Generation.
MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCRS) appointed Carlos Echalar as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Previously, Mr. Echalar served as Vice President of Human Resources for CSC’s Global Commercial Group, and prior to CSC, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for ManTech International. He has also held executive positions at SAIC Corporation and Titan Corporation
Forest Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: FRX) announced that Karen Ling was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Ms. Ling succeeds Sally Paull, who joined Forest in 2009 and served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Ling most recently was Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for Merck & Co., Inc.’s Global Human Health and Consumer Care businesses worldwide. Prior to that role at Merck, she was Vice President, Compensation and Benefits. Prior to Merck, Ms. Ling was Group Vice President, Global Compensation & Benefits at Schering-Plough. Ms. Ling spent 14 years at Wyeth in various positions of responsibility in human resources for the pharmaceutical, vaccines, and consumer health commercial businesses. She also worked in Wyeth Pharmaceutical’s Labor and Employment Department. Prior to joining Wyeth, Ms. Ling practiced corporate law with Goldstein and Manello, P.C. in Boston.
AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAG) announced the appointment of Elizabeth Bolgiano as senior vice president of human resources. Prior to joining AMAG, Ms. Bolgiano served as senior vice president of human resources and a member of the executive team for Thermo Fisher Scientific. Ms. Bolgiano served in various leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Smith & Nephew Company, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company both in the U.S. and globally.
Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: SWKS) hired Victoria Vezina as vice president of human resources. Vezina was previously at Thermo Fisher Scientific where she served as vice president of talent management and development, as well as vice president of human resources for corporate global functions. Prior to this, she was vice president of human resources for Thermo Fisher’s clinical diagnostics division. Before joining Thermo Fisher, Vezina held other progressively responsible human resource positions at Comcast, Boston Consulting Group and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
