GfK announced the appointment of Jacqueline Richardson as Regional Director and Executive Vice President of Human Resources in North America. Richardson most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources for Torus Insurance. Prior to Torus, Richardson was Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Synovate (now part of IPSOS), where she was responsible for North and Latin America, as well as the company’s global CE business. She has also worked at CNA Insurance and RBC Mortgage.
Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE: RAD) announced that Dedra N. Castle is joining Rite Aid as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. In 2012, Castle became a founding member and managing partner of Castle Partners, LLC, a human resources management services firm; and Level Mediation, LLC, a multi-state mediation firm. Before this, Castle worked for the Sam Club’s Division of Walmart Stores, Inc., where she most recently led the corporate human resources function and was the Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer. While at Sam’s Club, she also served as vice president of its People Division. Prior to Sam’s Club, she held senior human resources positions at Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., and Auto Zone Stores, Inc.
Builders Blinds announced that Cheryl Redenbacher has joined the company as Vice President of Human Resources. Her most recent position was with Hermann International, a training and development organization, as the Director of Global and Product Development.
The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company announce that Alida Moose has been appointed senior vice president, chief human resources officer. Moose has been with Penn Mutual for 15 years, most recently as vice president, Producer & Client Services. Prior to joining Penn Mutual, Moose previously worked at Lincoln Financial Group, Aetna and Colonial Penn Insurance.
Echo Global Logistics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ECHO) announced the appointment of Cheryl Johnson to the post of Senior Vice President of Talent. Ms. Johnson previously led talent management for retail chain Ulta Cosmetics. Prior to her time with Ulta, Ms. Johnson served as Divisional Vice President of Strategic Talent Management for Sears Holding Company and also spent time as Vice President of Human Resources for Fossil Inc.
Telemundo Station Group announced that Javier I. Ortiz has been named Vice President of Human Resources for the division. Ortiz has been with Telemundo since 2007, most recently as Director of Human Resources for Telemundo Networks. Before that, he was Telemundo’s Director of Human Resources for Organization and Staffing. Ortiz started his career with Telemundo as Human Resources Manager, supporting KTMD in Houston and KVDA in San Antonio; his role eventually grew to include KBLR in Las Vegas and KDEN in Denver as well. Prior to joining Telemundo, Ortiz spent 17 years with Universal Orlando in human resources.
