The ADT Corporation (NYSE: ADT) announced the appointment of Laura Miller to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer. Before joining ADT, Miller served in multiple senior leadership roles within the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia, most recently as Chief Human Resources Officer for Coca-Cola Refreshments. Prior to Coca-Cola, Miller held various HR leadership positions for Raytheon Company, a leading defense contractor and industrial corporation based in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS) announced the promotion of Steve Martin to vice president, human resources. Martin joined The Marcus Corporation in 2000 as corporate human resources director of the company’s former Baymont Inns & Suites limited-service lodging division. During his career with the company he served as the director of human resources for the Hilton Milwaukee and held several human resources roles for The Marcus Corporation including director of benefits and most recently, assistant corporate director of human resources. Prior to joining The Marcus Corporation, Martin worked for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotels and Embassy Suites.
Helen of Troy Limited (NASDAQ: HELE) announced that Global Legal, Human Resources and Investor Relations will be headed by Vincent Carson, who is being promoted to Chief Legal, Human Resource and Investor Relations Officer. Mr. Carson has been with Helen of Troy for 12 years. In addition to Mr. Carson’s current responsibility as global General Counsel, he will take on three major additional responsibilities, including Human Resources, Investor Relations, and Corporate Communications.
Decision Resources Group announced that Clark Curtis has joined the Company as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Curtis was most recently Director of People Strategy and Human Resources, North America, Europe and Asia for SapientNitro Corporation. Before his role at SapientNitro, Mr. Curtis was Vice President of Human Resources at NameMedia. He has also been Vice President of Human Resources for North America and Europe for Virtusa. He has also managed human resources operations for Palladium Group, Inc./Painted Word Inc. and AT&T’s business sales division. Prior to his human resources career, he was in sales for AT&T.
Webster Bank announced Bernard Garrigues as its new executive vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO). Most recently, Garrigues was with TIMEX Group in Middlebury, Conn., where he was the CHRO. Prior to that, he worked 21 years for General Electric where he served in senior HR leadership roles with a number of GE businesses, including Commercial Finance, Capital Real Estate, Healthcare, and Capital IT Solutions in both the United States and Europe.
Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC) announced that Kirk J. Allan was named Vice President of Human Resources Operations and Compliance and Vickie S. Smith was named Vice President of Employee Relations. Previously, Mr. Allan was Senior Director of Human Resources and has served the Company in several important areas in his seven years with Genuine Parts. Ms. Smith was previously Vice President of Human Resources for the U.S. Automotive Parts Group and in her 12 years with the Company, has served in a broad range of key HR positions.
GTECH announced that Donna Kimmel has joined its senior management team as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Most recently, Donna held the position of Senior Vice President and Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Sensata Technologies (formally the Sensors & Controls Business at Texas Instruments). Prior to Sensata Technologies, Donna was the Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources, Sensors & Controls Business at Texas Instruments. In her early career, Donna worked in various Human Resources positions at Fannie Mae in Washington, D.C.; Independence Bancorp in Perkasie, Pennsylvania; and Doylestown Federal Savings & Loan in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Meridian Bank announced the promotion of Jina A. Kim to Senior Vice-President, Human Resources. Ms. Kim formerly was a Vice-President with the bank. She previously served as the HR director for Gap International, Springfield PA and InterMedia Interactive Solutions, Philadelphia, PA.
