Michael Kors Holdings Limited (NYSE: KORS) announced that Pascale Meyran has been named to the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. Most recently, Ms. Meyran was at S.C. Johnson & Son, where she held the position of Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources since 2010. Prior to her 20-year tenure at S.C. Johnson & Son, Ms. Meyran worked in a variety of human resources functions at General Electric.
The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS) announced the appointment of Rachel P. McKinney as vice president of human resources. Prior to joining The Marcus Corporation, she served as executive vice president, chief human resources officer for School Specialty, Inc. for five years. Previously, she served as senior vice president, global human resources for DENTSPLY International, Inc. McKinney’s career also includes serving as vice president, human resources in the business critical solutions group of Compaq Computer Corp./Hewlett Packard, vice president human resources for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Burger King Corporation and director, human resources for the sales, marketing and international divisions of Miller Brewing Company. She has also served in high-level human resources leadership positions in the restaurant industry, at companies including General Mills Restaurants (The Olive Garden and Red Lobster) and El Chico Restaurants.
Toys“R”Us, Inc. announced that Christine Morena has been named Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Toys“R”Us, Inc. Morena most recently served as principal of her own advisory services business. Prior to this, Morena served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Saks Incorporated. She previously worked at AT&T for many years where she held positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in Senior Vice President, Human Resources, AT&T Corporation.
The Hertz Corporation (NYSE: HTZ), has announced that Christian Cunningham has joined the Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) as its Chief Human Resources Officer. He joins HERC from DFC Global Corporation where he served as Vice President, Corporate HR and HR Services since June 2013. Previously Mr. Cunningham held the position of Vice President, HR, Compensation and Benefits at Sunoco Inc. and Sunoco Logistics from 2010 to 2013. Prior to Sunoco, Mr. Cunningham served at ARAMARK as Vice President, Global Compensation and Strategy (2008 to 2010); at Scholastic Inc. as Vice President, Compensation, Benefits and HRIS (2006 – 2007); and at Pep Boys as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources (2005 – 2006). Previously Mr. Cunningham held director and regional managerial positions, in roles with increasing levels of responsibility at Pep Boys (1995 – 2005) and Tire Service Corporation, Inc (1985 – 1995).
