GI Partners announced the appointment of Laila Tarraf as Head of Human Resources. Prior to joining GI Partners, Ms. Tarraf served with Peet’s Coffee & Tea since 2006 as its first Chief People Officer & VP of HR. Previously, she served in human resources leadership roles at Walmart.com, Webvan, and Electronic Arts.
LABS, Inc. announced it has appointed Faith Atkins as Senior Director of Human Resources. Prior to joining the company, she served as the HR Manager at The Berry Company. She has also served as the HR Director at Arrow Electronics, Inc., and was a Senior Associate Relations consultant at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Wolverine Worldwide (NYSE: WWW) announced the appointment of Melissa A. Howell to the position of Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources. Ms. Howell has more than 24 years of experience in human resource management with General Motors Company, most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources and also held numerous other human resource leadership roles during her time with the company.
Datawatch Corporation (NASDAQ: DWCH) announced the appointment of Brigid MacDonald as the global Vice President, Human Resources. MacDonald succeeds Mary Murphy, who chose to retire at the end of Datawatch’s fiscal year. Ms. MacDonald brings over 25 years of human resources and broad managerial experience from organizations such as Empirix, Inc., Institute for Healthcare Improvement, The Picker Institute and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.
Exa® Corporation (NASDAQ: EXA) announced the appointment of Michelle Woods Burnett as Vice President of Human Resources. She joins Exa from Kiva Systems, a subsidiary of Amazon, where she was the senior Human Resources executive. Prior to Kiva she led the HR departments for Lemaitre Vascular and Arbor Networks.
LMI Aerospace, Inc. (NASDAQ: LMIA) announced that Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Development, Cynthia G. Maness, will be leaving the company effective December 23, 2014. Maness has been with LMI for over 23 years starting as a plant and corporate HR Manager. She was named HR Director in 1996, Director of People in 2002, and has served as Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Development since 2008. In order to effect a smooth transition, Maness will remain available for consultation through March 15, 2015.
