Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: ATI) announced that Elizabeth C. Powers has been named ATI’s Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, effective November 1, 2014. Most recently, she was Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Administrative Officer for Dresser-Rand Group, Inc. Prior to Dresser-Rand, Beth spent 16 years with Ingersoll Rand where she served in human resources and labor relations leadership positions with increasing responsibilities.
Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. announced the promotion of Melissa Strait, SVP, Human Resources and Leadership Development, to Chief People Officer. As a teenager, Melissa learned leadership and guest service skills at the frontline of Arby’s operations in order to work her way through college. In 1995, she became director of training and then her career quickly progressed as she worked for both Arby’s franchisees and eventually the franchisor. Strait was named Vice President of Training and Development in 2000 before later becoming Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Leadership Development.
Kansas City Southern (KCS) (NYSE: KSU) announced that Lora Cheatum has been appointed senior vice president human resources for its primary U.S. subsidiary, The Kansas City Southern Railway Company (KCSR). Ms. Cheatum joins KCS from Layne, where she was senior vice president global human resources since 2012. Prior to Layne, she spent nine years with Kansas City Power & Light, most recently as vice president of procurement and previously as vice president human resources. Ms. Cheatum has also held human resources and operations management roles with Walmart Stores, Inc. and Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc.
Criteo (NASDAQ: CRTO) announced the appointment of Mimi Gigoux as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Mimi joins Criteo from Calix Inc. where she served as SVP, Talent and Culture. Prior to this she was SVP, Human Resources at Extreme Networks Inc. Mimi has has led Human Resources functions in organizations including Harris Stratex Networks, Digital Fuel, NeoForma, Mirapoint Technologies and Redback Networks Inc.
