Microsoft Corp. announced that Lisa Brummel, Executive Vice President of Human Resources, will retire from the company after 25 years, and Kathleen Hogan will succeed her as Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Hogan will join the company’s senior leadership team beginning November 28. Brummel will assist in the leadership transition and remain with the company through December 31. Hogan has worked in a variety of roles at Microsoft over the past 11 years, most recently leading Microsoft Services. She has held a variety of roles, from technical to sales and marketing, from being a developer at Oracle to a partner at McKinsey.
The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America announced it has appointed Anthony S. Marino, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. Mr. Marino most recently served as General Manager of Global Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. Mr. Marino was previously Chief Human Resources Officer at Ally Financial.
Epic Sciences announced the appointment of Toni Wayne as vice president of human resources. Prior to joining Epic Sciences, Toni Wayne was vice president of Human Resources at Prometheus Laboratories. Prior to Prometheus, she held the position of vice president of Human Resources for Baxter Healthcare’s BioScience division. Ms. Wayne also was vice president of Human Resources for Elan’s Biopharmaceutical division. She started her career in biotech with Hybritech Incorporated, where she held varying positions of management responsibility in Human Resources, Manufacturing, Quality and Project Management.
ConvergeOne announced that Colleen Haberman has joined the company as Vice President of Human Resources. Haberman comes to ConvergeOne from Univita Health, Inc., where she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Univita, Haberman held executive human resource positions across the healthcare, nonprofit, pharmacy benefits and financial services industries.
