Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK) named Melissa Anderson senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective Jan. 21, 2015. Anderson most recently served as senior vice president of human resources for Domtar, Inc. Her previous experience includes serving as vice president of human resources of global financing at IBM Corporation.
W. R. Grace (NYSE: GRA) announced that Elizabeth (Liz) C. Brown has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer. Brown comes to Grace from Tyco, where she was Vice President, Human Resources. Beginning in 2010, she held leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Tyco. She also led the Talent Center of Excellence. Prior to Tyco, Liz held Human Resources leadership roles with global chemical company LyondellBasell Industries.
La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE: LZB) announced the appointment of Barbara J. Runyon as Chief Human Resources Officer. She will join the company on February 2, 2015. Runyon joins La-Z-Boy from PepsiCo/The Pepsi Bottling Group, where she spent 14 years in various Human Resource positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Human Resources for the company’s Midwest region. Prior to that, she served as the Human Resources Manager for Prestolite Wire Corporation based in Southfield, Michigan.
Interstate Hotels & Resorts announce the appointment of Laura E. FitzRandolph as executive vice president and chief human resources officer. Prior to joining Interstate in 2006, FitzRandolph spent eight years in the labor and employment group of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP, and is also a former deputy director of correspondence in the White House Office of Scheduling and Advance and served on the staff of United States Senator Alan Cranston.
Conifer Health Solutions announced the appointment of Mecole (“Cole”) Brown to the position of senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Ms. Brown served most recently as senior vice president of Human Resources for Walmart U.S. Store Operations. She succeeds Norma Zeringue, who will continue in her role as Conifer’s senior vice president of Strategy. Ms. Brown joined Walmart in 2002 as assistant general counsel. Prior to her association with Walmart, Ms. Brown served with Bashen Consulting, Wickliff & Hall, P.C. and Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, L.L.P.
Alliant Techsystems Inc. (NYSE: ATK) announced that Stephen S. Clark will serve as Vista Outdoor Inc.’s Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Corporate Services. Most recently, Mr. Clark served as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer for the H.J. Heinz Company. He joined Heinz in 2002 and held various and increasing leadership roles within the human resources function. Mr. Clark was the director of staffing for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee (SLOC) for the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games from 1998-2002. He also served in human resources management positions for Pizza Hut, Inc. from 1995-1998.
Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Incorporated (NYSE: RBA) announced that Todd Wohler has agreed to join the Company as Chief Human Resources Officer effective March 1, 2015. Todd began his career at Schlumberger, a global oil and gas technology company, where he worked in many different branches of the company in the US, Paris, and London during his 20 year tenure. Todd has also served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Quintiles Transnational, as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at ARAMARK for ARAMARK’s international business, and as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at United Water.
Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (NYSE: AAP) announced that Tammy Finley has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Human Resources and General Counsel. Ms. Finley joined Advance in 1998 and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to that, she served as Vice President, Employment Counsel and Government Affairs; Vice President, Staffing and Team Member Relations; and Assistant Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to joining Advance, Ms. Finley was a labor and employment attorney with The Center for Employment Law, PC, and also served as a Staff Attorney with the Virginia Supreme Court.
Taylor Morrison Home Corporation (NYSE:TMHC) announced that Cristina “Cris” Iaboni has joined the Company as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Most recently, Ms. Iaboni was SVP and CHRO of BJ’s Wholesale Club. Prior to BJ’s, she spent over 11 years at EMCOR Group, Inc.
The AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) announced that Yvonne Massenburg has been named as the association’s new chief human resources officer, effective January 26. She rejoins the AAMC after previously serving as director of talent management from 2012 to 2013. She succeeds Roby Hunt, who now serves as vice president of human resources at MedStar Health. Massenburg joins the AAMC with more than 20 years of professional experience. Prior to rejoining the AAMC, Massenburg served as director of human resources at Bates White LLC. She also has held senior leadership positions in human resources at Abbott Laboratories, Eli Lilly & Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and TRW Inc.
Novavax, Inc. (NASDAQ: NVAX) announced that Jill Hoyt has been named Vice President, Human Resources & Administration. Ms. Hoyt joined Novavax in February 2008 as Executive Director, Human Resources & Administration. Prior to joining Novavax, Ms. Hoyt held management positions of increasing responsibility in a number of companies, including 3e Technologies International, ChoicePoint, and TRW.
