The McClatchy Company (NYSE: MNI) named Billie S. McConkey as vice president, human resources. A practicing labor and employment attorney, McConkey has served as special employment counsel to McClatchy since 2006.
Apprio announced that Jennifer Peacock has joined the firm as the new chief human capital officer. Prior to joining Apprio, she was the corporate director of compensation for SRA International, Inc. She has also served as the president of Innovating Consulting Services.
Borderfree announced that Tara Stevens has joined the company as Chief Human Resources Officer & SVP/HR. Tara joined Borderfree from global ad agency Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB) where she was SVP/Global Talent & Organizational Effectiveness. Prior to FCB, she was VP/HR & Organizational Effectiveness at Univision Communications. Previously, she was head of human resources for The Wall Street Journal & Dow Jones Consumer Media Group and Sr. Human Resources Strategist for the Miami Dolphins and Dolphin Stadium. She also served as VP/HR for Time Warner’s corporate headquarters division and Time Warner Book Group after working in human resources at MasterCard International.
Journal Communications announced that Trina Jashinsky will join the company as Vice President of Human Resources. Jashinsky joins Journal from Fiserv, where she served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for the Credit Union Solutions and Open Solutions divisions. Prior to her tenure at Fiserv, she spent seven years with Johnson Controls as Vice President, Corporate Human Resources Global, and Director, Global Human Resources Programs and Human Resources Information Management. She also worked for 12 years as the Vice President – Human Resources of Norlight Telecommunications, then a subsidiary of Journal Communications.
Cardon Outreach announced that Joellyn Champagne has been named Chief Human Resources Officer for the company. Most recently, Champagne served as Chief HR Officer for Oceans Healthcare. Prior to Oceans Healthcare, Champagne served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Emerus Hospital Partners and Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Belmont Senior Living. She also held senior leadership positions at GSE Environmental and General Electric.
inContact (NASDAQ: SAAS) announced Trent Savage joins the company as the new Chief Human Resource Officer. Trent joins inContact from Amazon.com, where he led HR for the Americas Customer Service organization. Prior to Amazon, Trent worked at eBay as the Senior HR Director for Global Customer Services and at Procter & Gamble, where his most recent assignment was based in the Philippines leading HR for P&G’s Asia Region Shared Services business.
