Hudson’s Bay Company (TSX: HBC) announced the appointment of Dan Caspersen to Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to joining HBC, Mr. Caspersen served as SVP of Human Resources for the Miami Dolphins football team. Previously, he oversaw global human resources at Toys “R” Us. Before joining Toys “R” Us, Caspersen spent 25 years at Target Corporation.
Wyndham Exchange & Rentals, part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of companies (NYSE: WYN), announced the appointment of Lisa Calicchio to the position of executive vice president, Global Human Resources. During her career, she has worked at several blue-chip companies, including Merck and Johnson & Johnson. Most recently, she held an operations position running a service line within Covance.
Health Net, Inc. announced that Andy Ortiz has been named senior vice president, Organization Effectiveness and chief people officer, effective June 29, 2015. Most recently, Ortiz was chief human resources officer at Western Dental Services/Brident. Ortiz will succeed Karin Mayhew, who is retiring after 16 years at Health Net.
QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS) announced that Stan Sword has joined as the company’s first Chief People Officer. Sword has worked for leading companies including: Applebee’s International, Cerner Corporation, AT&T Solutions and NCR. Prior to joining QTS, Sword worked for Sprint, where he held dual roles as vice president of Total Rewards and vice president of Relationship Management for Sprint’s corporate center functions.
