Shutterfly, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFLY) announced it has appointed Tracy Layney as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Most recently she was SVP and Head of Human Resources and Communications for Old Navy, a Gap Inc. brand. Prior to Old Navy, Layney held numerous other roles at Gap Inc., including vice president, human resources strategy, technology and operations and senior director of international human resources. Prior to Gap Inc., Layney held roles with Levi Strauss & Company and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Business Consulting.
Cars.com announced that Cynthia Hiskes has been named vice president of human resources. Hiskes joins Cars.com from Ferrara Candy Company, where she was chief human resources officer. She also served as global human resources director for London-based Rexam. Prior to her time at Rexam, Hiskes served in a variety of human resources management roles at Freescale Semiconductor (formerly Motorola SPS). She began her career at Procter & Gamble in a series of operations-focused positions of increasing responsibility.
The Main Street America Group announced Dave Medvidofsky has been appointed vice president of human resources. He replaces Toni Porterfield, who has retired from the organization after leading the human resources function since 2004. Medvidofsky has been Main Street America’s vice president of internal audit since 2011. Medvidofsky has held many key leadership positions during his long tenure at Main Street America, which began in 1991. Among them: vice president and general manager of its Information Systems & Services Corporation subsidiary and assistant vice president of corporate strategy. He began his Main Street America career as a personal lines underwriter.
HireRight has named Dawn Hirsch as chief human resources officer (CHRO). Previously, Hirsch served as senior vice president of human resources for inVentiv Health. She also held HR leadership positions at Lend Lease and Thomson Reuters.
