Plantronics (NYSE: PLT) announced that InaMarie Johnson has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. Johnson was most recently SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at UTi Worldwide. Before joining UTi, Johnson spent a decade with Honeywell International, where she provided human resources leadership for the transportation systems and specialty materials divisions, including organizational design, talent management, compensation, employee and labor relations, staffing, learning and diversity. Prior to Honeywell, she served for six years in human resources leadership positions with The Clorox Company.
Frontier Communications Corporations (NASDAQ: FTR) announced that Kathleen Weslock joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. Most recently she was Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer at Cisco Systems, Inc. Ms. Weslock began her career in Human Resources with GTE, now Verizon, in multiple roles leading to Manager of Labor Relations. Prior positions included overseeing HR in the Far East and Latin America for GTE Sylvania, the company’s lighting division at that time. She worked at Mercer Human Resources Consulting as Principal of International Practice, then joined Covance as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. At the global law firm of Shearman & Sterling, Ms. Weslock was the first Director of Global Human Resources. Weslock joined Deloitte as Director of Human Resources, Financial Advisory Services. She was also Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer & Internal Communications at SunGard Data Systems.
Xylem Inc. (NYSE: XYL) announced that Kairus Tarapore will join the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 27, 2015. Tarapore joins Xylem from Babcock & Wilcox Company, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President, Human Resources, for Ceridian Corporation. Tarapore previously held various management positions at General Electric, including Senior Vice President, Global Quality for GE Fleet Services, and Vice President, Human Resources, for GE Auto Financial Services.
Softchoice announced the appointment of Anna Filipopoulos as their new senior vice-president of People and Growth, effective Sept. 1, 2015. Anna brings more than 20 years of experience, having held human resources leadership roles in Canada, the US and, most recently, with UK-based energy company Centrica PLC.
First Midwest Bank, the wholly-owned subsidiary of First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: FMBI), announced that Michelle Y. Hoskins has joined the Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Hoskins’ career spans over 27 years at The Northern Trust Company, where she held leadership positions of increasing responsibility in human resources and trust operations. Prior to joining First Midwest bank, she held the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Talent and Change Management at Northern Trust.
ITC Holdings Corp. (NYSE: ITC) announced that Matthew Dills has joined the company as vice president, human resources and chief human resources officer. Dills recently served as executive vice president of human resources and talent management at Hylant Inc. Prior to that, he held several positions with First Solar, Inc., including vice president of human resources, talent, learning and organizational development. He also served as senior director of human resources for The University of Toledo.
San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®) announced that Dawn Martin has been named Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining SDCCU, Martin served as Director of Human Resources for Community Resource Foundation. Before that, she held leadership roles in HR at Ardell-Martin Business Services and WD-40® Company.
