Domino’s Pizza [ANN ARBOR, Mich.] (NYSE: DPZ) has named Judy L. Werthauser as executive vice president and chief people officer. Werthauser comes to Domino’s from Target Corp., where she was senior vice president of HR. She joined Target in 2008, holding increasing levels of HR responsibilities there. Prior to Target, Werthauser was senior vice president of HR for U.S. Bancorp in Minneapolis. She was also the co-owner and operations leader of Aljohn’s and Junkyard Retailers.
UPS (NYSE: UPS) announced that Teri McClure, currently Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President, Human Resources will devote her time fully to the development of the company’s human capital strategy in the role of Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources and Labor.
Analog Devices, Inc. [NORWOOD, Mass.] (NASDAQ: ADI) announced the appointment of Jean Philibert as senior vice president of human resources. Prior to joining Analog Devices, Ms. Philibert served as senior vice president and chief people officer for Kixeye. Prior to her tenure at Kixeye, Ms. Philibert spent 15 years in a variety of senior human resources roles at EMC, including Vice President of HR for the Data Protection and Availability Division. Ms. Philibert is taking over for retiring senior vice president of human resources, Bill Matson, who will continue with ADI as a senior advisor until his retirement during 2016.
IFG Companies [ALPHARETTA, Ga.] announced that Mesale Solomon has joined as its Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer. Mesale began her career in Human Resources at the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan. After Ford, Mesale worked at Miller Brewing Company in Trenton, Ohio for two years as an Employee Relations Manager. Following Miller Brewing, Mesale joined Avis Budget Group in Parsippany, New Jersey, where she served in several senior human resources positions, including Director of Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Director of Human Resources for Avis’s International operations and Director of Learning and Development. Most recently, Mesale was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Innotrac Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. Mesale is replacing Vice President of Human Resources, Carol Hennrikus as she plans for retirement.
Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. [SAN DIEGO] (NASDAQ: OREX) announced the appointment of Heather Ace as Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources. Most recently, Ms. Ace was Integration Leader at Philips HealthTech. Prior to that role, she served as the EVP, Global Human Resources at Volcano Corporation and VP, Human Resources at Life Technologies in various positions of responsibility serving key business units, functions, the Europe,Middle East and Africa regions and numerous M&A transactions.
Stevenson University [Stevenson, MD] announced the appointment of Pamela L. A. Barkett as the University’s new Vice President of Human Resources. Barkett previously served as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Title IX Coordinator for Furman University in South Carolina. Prior to her work at Furman University, she served as the Staff/Labor Relations and Employment Manager for Johns Hopkins University; Director of Employment at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill; and Director of Human Resources/EEO Officer for University of North Carolina-Pembroke.
