Xactly [SAN JOSE, Calif] (NYSE: XTLY) announced Leanne Bernhardt as its new vice president of human resources. Bernhardt previously served as senior director at Brocade Communications Systems. Prior to Brocade, Bernhardt held senior level positions at such blue chip companies as Nortel Networks and Seagate Technology.
Patterson Companies [ST. PAUL, Minn] (NASDAQ: PDCO) announced that Kelly Baker has joined Patterson Companies as Chief Human Resource Officer. Baker joins Patterson from General Mills, where she most recently served as Vice President, Human Resources for General Mills’ U.S. Retail Operating Segment. Earlier in her career, Baker served as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand.
Gilead Sciences, Inc. [FOSTER CITY, Calif.] (NASDAQ: GILD) announced the promotion of Katie Watson to Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Ms. Watson joined Gilead in February 2003 and since that time has taken on increasing levels of responsibility and management within the HR organization. Ms. Watson was appointed Vice President of Employee Development and Rewards in 2012 and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources in 2013. Before joining Gilead, she was a manager of compensation for Applera Corporation, led the HR consulting practice for TriNet and worked as an HR business partner for DE Shaw & Co.
The Manitowoc Company, Inc. [MANITOWOC, Wis.] (NYSE: MTW) announced that Andreas G. Weishaar has been appointed Senior Vice President, Strategy, Marketing & Human Resources, of Manitowoc Foodservice, Inc. Mr. Weishaar spent the last ten years at AGCO Corporation where he held various leadership positions, most recently Vice President and General Manager, Global Green Harvesting. He began his career at Arthur D. Little.
CareSync [TAMPA, Fla] announced Teri Spencer as vice president of human resources. Spencer was most recently senior talent business partner for GTE Financial credit union. She also served as senior vice president of people strategies and resources for CCS Medical.
Point72 Asset Management, L.P. [STAMFORD, Conn.] has named Joshua Varsano to lead its Human Resources group. Mr. Varsano joins Point72 from JP Morgan Chase & Co. where he was a Managing Director for Consumer and Community Banking (CCB). Prior to his role with CCB, Mr. Varsano built and led the JPMorgan Investment Bank Global Experienced and Executive Recruiting function. Before JPMC, Mr. Varsano was a Principal with Sextant Search Partners and held leadership positions with Cigna, UBS Investment Bank, and IBM.
Digital Realty Trust, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] (NYSE: DLR) announced the appointment of Cindy Fiedelman as Chief Human Resources Officer. She joined the company on an interim basis in September 2015. Prior to taking on this role, Cindy served as Vice President of People & Diversity at American Airlines. She has also held senior-level human resources and operations positions at companies including Avaya, Sun Microsystems and Comcast.
StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC [OMAHA, Neb.] is pleased to announce that Duke Vair has been selected as the new vice president of human resources. Prior to joining Strategic, Duke served as the senior vice president of human resources for Ag Processing, Inc. in Omaha.
NSF International [ANN ARBOR, Mich.] has appointed Lisa Bell as Vice President, Global Human Resources. Bell joins NSF International with more than 25 years of experience, most recently as the first Vice President of Human Resources at DESTACO – A Dover Company. Prior to this position Bell worked as Director of Human Resources at Owens Corning in the Buildings Materials Group. She also worked at Holcim, a Switzerland-based global cement manufacturer (now LaFargeHolcim).
LG&E and KU [LOUISVILLE, Ky.] has announced that Paula Pottinger, senior vice president of Human Resources plans to retire after more than 28 years with the company. Greg Meiman, director of Corporate Tax and Benefit Plan Compliance, has assumed the role of vice president of Human Resources. Meiman joined LG&E and KU in 1996 as a senior corporate attorney. He was promoted numerous times before leaving the company in early 2001 for private law practice. He rejoined the company as senior counsel and executive plan specialist in late 2002. Before joining the company, Meiman served as tax and benefit counsel for Providian Corporation, and began his career as an accountant with a regional accounting firm.
