Norfolk Southern Corp. [NORFOLK, Va.] (NYSE: NSC) announced that Ann A. Adams has been named vice president human resources. She succeeds Juan K. Cunningham. Adams joined Norfolk Southern in 2001 as a human resources manager and subsequently served in a number of HR roles. Since 2012, she has served as assistant vice president human resources.
Ryerson Holding Corporation [CHICAGO] (NYSE: RYI) announced that Mark Silver, Ryerson’s executive vice president, general counsel and secretary will be promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer, following the retirement of current CHRO Roger Lindsay, who has served as Ryerson’s chief human resources officer since 2011. Silver previously worked for 12 years at Sara Lee Corporation, where he held multiple positions such as vice president and assistant general counsel, vice president of corporate development, as well as chief counsel.
CyrusOne [DALLAS] (NASDAQ: CONE) announced the hiring of Kellie Teal-Guess as the company’s new executive vice president and chief people officer. Before taking the position at CyrusOne, Teal-Guess worked as senior vice president of global human resources at ProQuest LLC. Teal-Guess also worked with Dell Corporation for eight years as executive director of human resources. Teal-Guess has also been employed by Foodmaker, Inc. and Six Flags Theme Parks.
