JDRF [New York, NY] announced the appointment of Susan E. Yun as Chief People Officer, Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Susan has global experience and has led the human resources function in companies in the Netherlands, Japan and Canada. Most recently, she has been advisor to the founder of a coaching platform start-up.
Rave Restaurant Group, Inc. [DALLAS] announced the hire of Kim Johnston as the new Vice President of Human Resources. Johnston joins Rave Restaurant Group after nearly 10 years of progressively responsible leadership roles at Starbucks Coffee Company, most recently as Director of Human Resources supporting the US retail business. Prior to Starbucks, Johnston spent seven years with West Corporation, a leading telecommunications firm. She also held leadership roles at Target Stores and Barnes & Noble.
Bitly [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Susan Riskin as VP of Human Resources. Susan comes to Bitly from Gilt.com where she served as Director, Human Resources. Prior to that, she held multiple positions at Bain & Company, most recently as HR Manager.
Arctic Cat Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS] (NASDAQ: ACAT) announced that Patricia L. Jones has joined as chief human resources officer, succeeding Willliam Nee. Most recently, Jones was senior vice president of administration for Lifetouch, Inc. Before that, Jones was executive vice president and chief administrative officer (CAO) for Allina Hospitals & Clinics. Jones’ previous experience also includes serving as CAO and general counsel for H.B. Fuller Company, and as senior vice president of administration and general counsel for the Star Tribune newspaper. Jones began her career with the former Northwest Airlines, now Delta Airlines, where she advanced through increasingly responsible labor relations and legal roles to become vice president of human resources.
Gibraltar Industries, Inc. [BUFFALO, N.Y.] (NASDAQ: ROCK) announced the planned retirement of Paul Murray. Succeeding Murray as SVP of Human Resources will be Cherri Syvrud. Syvrud joins Gibraltar after a 28-year career at Illinois Tool Works Inc., where he served as a Platform Director of Human Resources.
