Sprint [OVERLAND PARK, Kan.] (NYSE: S) announced the appointment of veteran human resources executive Ismat Aziz to its leadership team. Aziz replaces Sandy Price, who recently retired. Aziz joins Sprint from Sam’s Club where she was chief human resources officer and an integral member of Walmart’s global human resources leadership team.
Gold’s Gym [DALLAS] has named Jolynda Ward as senior vice president of human resources. Prior to joining Gold’s Gym, Ward oversaw employee service initiatives at Pillar Hotels & Resorts. Before joining Pillar Hotels & Resorts, Ward spent 12 years with Archon Group in a variety of roles including director of employee relations.
Kony, Inc. [AUSTIN, Texas] announced the appointment of Todd Riesterer as chief human resources officer. Riesterer joins Kony after serving as senior vice president of Human Resources (HR) at InsideSales.com. He also led international human resource growth strategies for VMware’s Global Customer and Business Operations organizations. During his 25-year career, Riesterer also led global HR programs at McAfee, Business Objects and Cadence Design Systems.
Deem [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced that it has appointed Peg Wynn as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Peg Wynn joins Deem after holding senior leadership roles at TeleNav, Qualcomm, Aetheros, Granite, Adobe Systems, Xilinx and Intel.
TRC Companies, Inc. [LOWELL, MA] (NYSE: TRR) announced that Brenda Reynolds has joined as Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining TRC, Reynolds worked at General Electric (GE) for 26 years, most recently serving as the Senior Executive of Human Resources.
Ellie Mae® [PLEASANTON, Calif.] (NYSE: ELLI) announced that Melanie Simpson has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Melanie spent eight years working for the Microsoft Corporation. Most recently she served as the General Manager of Human Resources for Microsoft’s World Wide Services businesses. Before joining Microsoft, Melanie held roles with Safeco Insurance, GE Money and GE Plastics.
