SpartanNash [GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.] (NASDAQ: SPTN) announced the appointment of Yvonne S. Trupiano to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Ms. Trupiano will assume the responsibilities of Jerry Jones, who is retiring from the Company. Mr. Jones has led the Company’s Human Resources function since 2009. Ms. Trupiano joins SpartanNash from Avis Budget Group, where she most recently held the position of Vice President, Human Resources.
Kimberly-Clark Corporation [DALLAS] (NYSE: KMB) announced that chief human resources officer Liz Gottung plans to retire at the end of 2016. The company has named Scott Boston as Gottung’s successor. Boston, who joined the company in 2011, has led global HR talent management and been responsible for leading HR within Kimberly-Clark International. He will become senior vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO) effective January 1, 2017 and will work with Liz to ensure a smooth transition.
Screenvision Media [NEW YORK] announced the hire of Kathie Malinowski as Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining Screenvision Media, Malinowski was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Everyday Health Inc., where she led and managed the Human Resources Business Operations function for three years. Her previous experience includes positions at MyPublisher, The Weinstein Company and Primedia Inc.
Entergy Corporation [NEW ORLEANS] (NYSE: ETR) announced the selection of Andrea Coughlin Rowley as senior vice president of HR. Rowley most recently served as the president and CEO of Advance/Evolve. She began her career in human resources at Shell and later served in a variety of HR leadership roles at Frito-Lay, BMC Software and Baker Hughes, where she became vice president of global transformation. Rowley was vice president, human resources, at Schlumberger/Smith International in the Wilson division. She later served as vice president, human resources – residential, at Direct Energy, and as vice president of HR at Dover Corporation.
Airlines Reporting Corporation [ARLINGTON, Va.] announced the appointment of Eric J. Barger as the company’s vice president and chief human resources officer. Barger came to ARC from Laureate Education. Barger began his career at Discovery Communications as manager of talent strategy and organizational development. He then moved to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority as its talent acquisition and organizational development director. Barger also led talent management and acquisition efforts at Constellation Energy, McCormick & Company and Agora Publishing. At Laureate Education he served as vice president of talent management.
Viamedia [NEW YORK and LEXINGTON, Ky.] announced that Becky Jones, who has served as the company’s senior vice president, marketing & research, has been promoted to chief marketing & people officer. Jones began her cable television career at TCI just prior to its acquisition by AT&T.
