Southern Company [ATLANTA] (NYSE: SO) announced that Nancy Sykes has been named executive vice president and chief human resources officer of Southern Company Services, effective December 5th. Sykes joins Southern Company from U.S. Steel, where she has served as vice president and chief human resources officer since 2015. Sykes joined U.S. Steel after spending more than five years with The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Prior to joining Goodyear, Sykes spent 20 years at General Electric.
New Jersey Resources [WALL, N.J.] (NYSE: NJR) named Amanda E. Mullan as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective January 1, 2017. Ms. Mullan joined NJR in 2015 after serving in executive leadership roles in the field of human resources for over 20 years.
sbe [NEW YORK] announced it has hired Jack Myers as Executive Vice President Human Resources. Prior to sbe, he held a number of senior leadership positions across human resources at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
Paragon Bioservices, Inc. [BALTIMORE] announced the appointment of Ruby Hofmann to the position of Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development. Her early career was spent in the Financial Services industry and through her consulting engagements she successfully managed strategic projects with multi-million-dollar, international companies such as Brother International, Bristol-Myers Squibb, DSM, Catalent and PharmaNet/i3.
Ping Identity [DENVER] announced the appointment of Aaron LaPoint as Chief Human Resources Officer. LaPoint spent more than nine years at Dish Network, where he was most recently responsible for enterprise total rewards, talent acquisition, talent development and HR strategy for 10,000 employees.
