American International Group, Inc. (AIG) [NEW YORK] (NYSE: AIG) has named Karen L. Ling Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Ling joins AIG from Allergan plc, where for the past five years she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Previously Ms. Ling was Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Merck & Co., Inc.’s Global Human Health and Consumer Care businesses worldwide. Prior to Merck, she was Group Vice President, Global Compensation & Benefits at Schering-Plough. Ms. Ling also spent 14 years at Wyeth in various positions of increasing responsibility developing HR strategies for business units and working in Wyeth’s Labor & Employment Department.
Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. [CANTON, Mass.] (NASDAQ: DNKN) announced the appointment of Stephanie Lilak as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Lilak comes to Dunkin’ Brands from General Mills where she spent 23 years in executive-level human resource positions. Lilak’s most recent position at General Mills was Vice President, Human Resources, North America Retail. She held previous roles with the company as the Vice President of Human Resources for the U.S. foodservice and convenience stores segments, and she provided human resources leadership for the International and Manufacturing Divisions. Lilak also assumed a cross-functional line leadership role of General Mills’ largest manufacturing plant in the U.S. Prior to General Mills, Lilak worked in human resources for Cooper Industries.
IRI® [CHICAGO] announced the appointment of Evan Swidler as chief human resources officer. Swidler most recently served as chief human resources officer for ATI Physical Therapy. Prior to ATI, Swidler spent nearly five years at The Nielsen Company in various senior HR-focused roles, including chief human resources officer for North and South America, Europe and the Pacific. Earlier in his career, Swidler spent 12 years at Accenture in its management consulting practice.
Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [CRESTWOOD, Ky. and WALTHAM, Mass.] (NASDAQ: APLS) announced the appointment of Lucia Celona as Chief People Officer. Prior to joining Apellis, Celona worked at Bioverativ where she was the Chief HR and Communications Officer. Prior to Bioverativ, she was at Biogen for 12 years holding numerous HR related positions including Vice President, Human Resources for Biogen’s Pharmaceutical Operations and Technology Organization. Prior to Biogen, Celona held numerous HR leadership positions in companies such as Hewlett Packard, Philips Medical Systems, including CHRO for a start-up company, Sentillion.
KEPRO [NASHVILLE, Tenn.] announced the addition of John Malanowski to the company’s executive leadership team as chief people officer. Most recently, he served as interim chief human resource officer for Virence Health Technologies and University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center.
MTPV Power Corporation [AUSTIN, TEXAS and BOSTON, MASS.] announced that it has named Robin Hamel as its new Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Finance. Robin has held roles of increasing responsibility at Sprint/Nextel, Boost Mobile, Dun & Bradstreet, PDI Software, and most recently Agility Recovery Solutions. She previously held HR roles in the Texas Department of Mental Health and the US Navy.
Johannes Leonardo [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Debra Sercy as the agency’s new Chief Talent Officer. Sercy joins the agency after a 7-year tenure at executive search and acquisition company Grace Blue Partnership as Joint-Chief Executive Officer.
