Xerium Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:XRM) announced the creation of the new position of Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources and the filling of that position with the hiring of Mike Bly. Mike was formerly the Vice President of Human Resources at Pliant Corporation. Mike was most recently, Vice President of Human Resources at Berry Plastics, which acquired Pliant Corporation in December 2009.

Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE) announced that Eva Sage-Gavin has been elected to the Company’s board of directors. Ms. Sage-Gavin, currently the executive vice president, global human resources and corporate affairs for Gap Inc., will also serve on Sapient’s compensation committee. Prior to joining Gap Inc., Ms. Sage-Gavin worked at Sun Microsystems and Disney Consumer Products as senior vice president, human resources. In addition, she has served in various senior human resources leadership positions for The PepsiCo Corporation, including its Taco Bell division, and for Xerox Corporation.

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has appointed Constance A. Soloway vice president of human resources for the company’s Linthicum-based Electronic Systems sector. Soloway joined Northrop Grumman in 1985 and has held a variety of leadership positions in contracts and pricing, engineering and human resources. She served as human resources director for the engineering, manufacturing and logistics function, and later for the former Targeting Systems Division. She has also served as director of learning and development. Most recently, Soloway served as vice president of human resources, office administration, facilities and real estate, environmental health and safety, and flight operations for the company’s Enterprise Shared Services organization.

Rocket Software announced that Richard Morgan has joined as vice president human resources. Early in his career, Morgan was an initial member of the HR team at Lotus Development Corporation. From 2004 until 2013 Dick worked for Dassault Systemes, first as VP HR at SolidWorks and more recently VP HR for Dassault Systemes Americas Corporation. Pamela Harless

Grant Thornton LLP announced that Pamela Harless has joined as the firm’s chief human resources officer. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Harless ran her own human capital management consulting firm. Previously, she spent more than eight years at Capgemini in a variety of talent management and human resources roles, including as vice president of North America People and HR leader. She also served as the chief operations officer of Lucernex Technologies.

Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) announced the appointment of James (Jim) Gemmell as Chief Human Resources Officer. Mr. Gemmell most recently held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Cisco Systems. Mr. Gemmell’s tenure at Cisco included serving as Vice President, Human Resources. He also held HR leadership roles within the engineering and sales organizations, in corporate compensation, and in key geographic regions, including Cisco India. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Gemmell held HR leadership positions at AlliedSignal, Mobil Oil Corporation, and General Electric.

Amyris, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMRS) announced that Karen D. Rohde has joined the Company as Chief Human Resources Officer. Previously, Karen Rohde was Senior Vice President Human Resources for Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Inc. (HGST). Prior to HGST, Rohde was Senior Vice President Human Resources & Chief Talent Officer for Sun Microsystems, Inc. Rohde began her career in Finance at Mobil Oil Corporation.

Cox Communications recently named Vonya Alleyne as Vice President, Human Resources for Cox Virginia. Alleyne joined Cox in 2007 as Director of Human Resources for Cox’s Northern Virginia operation. In 2010, she took on a focused senior leadership role as statewide Human Resources Director for recruitment and retention. Since September 2012, Alleyne has served as acting and then Interim Vice President of Human Resources. Alleyne has more than 15 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining Cox, she held various human resources roles in the retail, government contracting and telecommunications industries.

Steve BergerCompass Minerals (NYSE: CMP) appointed Steve Berger vice president, human resources. Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Berger served as senior vice president, corporate services at Viterra. Previously Berger was a senior executive at Accenture and a principal at A.T. Kearney.

Commtouch (NASDAQ: CTCH) announced the appointment of Uri Gal as global vice president of human resources. Gal previously served as a global vice president of human resources and administration at Nilit. Gal also served in previous human resource leadership roles at Oridion, as well as Comverse, and DHL.Dennis Shuler

Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. (NYSE: SNI) has appointed Dennis W. Shuler as executive vice president of human resources, effective May 1. Shuler comes to Scripps Networks Interactive from Kellogg Company where he was chief human resources officer and a member of the company’s executive leadership team. Prior to Kellogg, he was the chief human resources officer for The Walt Disney Company. His experience also includes 23 years in global operations at The Procter & Gamble Company where he held key human resources and business unit leadership roles.

SUPERVALU (NYSE: SVU) announced that Michele Murphy has been named executive vice president, human resources and corporate communications for the company. Murphy has spent the last seven years as SUPERVALU’s senior vice president of corporate human resources and labor relations. She has served in roles with international law firm Morgan Lewis, grocery store operator American Stores and roles of increasing responsibility at Albertsons and SUPERVALU. Murphy replaces Dave Pylipow, executive vice president, human resources and corporate communications, who will leave the company at the end of April. Pylipow has served in his current role since 2006, and previously held the position of vice president, human resources at Save-a-Lot.

Navigant (NYSE: NCI) announced that Eugene (Gene) Raffone has joined the firm as Executive Director and Human Capital Officer. Raffone joins Navigant from Accenture where he served in various human resources positions during his more than 20 year tenure. Most recently, he was the Human Resources lead for the firm’s Healthcare industry team.

Pegasus Solutions has named Rick Huntley to the global position of vice president, human resources. Most recently, Huntley served as vice president of human resources North America and Global for Intertek’s Oil, Chemical and Agri Division in Houston. He was also a vice president with Williams Companies, and corporate director of human resources with Raytheon in Dallas. Huntley has also held director level positions for other growing companies, including Teledyne Systems Company and Northrop Corporation.

Air Products (NYSE: APD) announced that Jennifer L. Grant will join the company as vice president, Human Resources, effective April 15. Grant joins Air Products from Pfizer, Inc., where she was vice president of Human Resources for the company’s specialty products and oncology divisions. With Wyeth, Grant had a number of increasingly significant international management roles prior to the Pfizer acquisition. Grant began her career with GE, where she held a variety of roles across multiple divisions.

D&W Fine Pack announced that Kate Daly has joined D&W Fine Pack as Vice President, Human Resources of the company. She was previously with PSAV Presentation Services, a global organization in the meetings and events industry, where she was Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to PSAV, Daly was Director of Training and Development at Panasonic Corporation.

South Jersey Industries (NYSE: SJI) announced the appointment of Kathleen A. McEndy as Vice President, Human Resources. McEndy most recently owned an HR consulting firm and was previously Sr. Vice President HR and Administration at Independence Blue Cross of Philadelphia, PA.

Stoneridge, Inc. (NYSE: SRI) announced that Charles A. DiStaulo has joined the Stoneridge management team in the new role of Vice President of Human Resources. Since 2008, DiStaulo has been vice president of human resources at Tarkett North America. Previously, he was director of human resources for the Decorative Products Division of OMNOVA Solutions; group executive director of human resources and communications for Facilities Services Group, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.; director of labor and employee relations for East Ohio Gas, a subsidiary of Dominion Resources, Inc.; and director of human resources for Lamson & Sessions Co.Martha May

Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) announced that Ron Kirchenbauer, senior vice president of Human Resources and corporate officer, will retire at the end of April. Martha May, senior vice president and Chief Human Resources Officer of Bell Helicopter, has been appointed to succeed Kirchenbauer. Prior to joining Bell in 2006, May served in various leadership roles in talent acquisition, compensation, organizational effectiveness, labor and employee relations.

AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) announced that Stephanie S. Bisselberg has been named Vice President, Human Resources. She succeeds Lawrence F. Zizzo, following a 35 year career in the steel industry, including serving the last nine years as AK Steel’s Vice President, Human Resources. Ms. Bisselberg joined AK Steel in 2004 as Assistant Labor Counsel, and advanced to Labor Counsel in 2005. In 2010, she was named Assistant General Counsel, Labor. Prior to joining the company, she was an attorney in the Labor and Employment department of the Cincinnati law firm Taft, Stettinius and Hollister LLP.

New York Life announced that Hy Pomerance has been elected a senior vice president of the company and promoted to chief human resources officer. Mr. Pomerance was previously chief talent officer. Mr. Pomerance joined New York Life in 2009 as a first vice president and head of Talent Development, and in 2010 he became chief talent officer. Prior to joining New York Life, Mr. Pomerance held multiple roles of increasing responsibility at various companies, including UBS Investment Bank as managing director – global head of talent management and also executive director – head of learning and development.

Clarabridge, Inc. announced that it has appointed Emily Markmann as Vice President of Human Resources. Markmann was previously the Vice President of Human Resources and Business Partners for the Health Solutions division of General Dynamics Information Technology.

Citrus Valley Health Partners has named Paul Heredia as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Paul was most recently the Director of Human Resources for Providence Holy Cross Medical Center.Kristen DiSanto

Washington Trust announced that Kristen L. DiSanto has been appointed Executive Vice President of Human Resources. DiSanto joined Washington Trust in 1994, and most recently served as Senior Vice President.

Omnicare, Inc. (NYSE: OCR) announced Kirsten Marriner has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. For nearly the past ten years, she served in variety of progressive leadership roles for Fifth Third Bank, most recently as Senior Vice President, Director of Talent Management and Development. During her tenure, Ms. Marriner also held key leadership positions including Director of Divisional Human Resources and Director of Compensation and Performance Management. Prior to joining Fifth Third Bank, Ms. Marriner served in an HR leadership role for KeyCorp and performed consulting work for both Deloitte and KPMG.

Earlier in her career, she was a specialist in healthcare recruitment and employee relations for Catholic Health Partners, a non-profit multi-hospital system in Chicago .

YouSendIt, Inc. announced the appointment of Lynne Collins to the role of head of HR. She previously worked with companies like Overstock.com, the executive search firm Exceptional People and AOL.Milou Carolan

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) announced it has appointed Milou Carolan vice president, human resources and administration, for the company’s Information Systems sector. Carolan most recently served as a human resources consultant to public and private clients, including the city of Baltimore; Fairfax County, Va.; the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission; and the state of Tennessee. Previously, Carolan served as vice president, human resources for ACS Government Solutions; personnel director for the District of Columbia government; and deputy personnel director for the city of Philadelphia.

AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) said that Lawrence F. Zizzo, Vice President, Human Resources, has announced his retirement effective March 31, 2013.

General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) announced that Melissa Howell has been named vice president of global human resources. Howell replaces Cindy Brinkley. Howell most recently served as executive director of human resources for GM North America, a position she held for about two years. Howell, joined GM in 1990 as a labor relations representative at the Willow Run Assembly Plant. Howell has supported several areas for GM human resources and previously held key jobs in Europe, Asia and North America.

Auction.com announced that Sheryl Roland has been named executive vice president of human resources. Most recently, she held the same role at The ACTIVE Network. Prior to joining The ACTIVE Network, Roland was senior vice president of human resources at WebSideStory/Visual Sciences and vice president of Human Resources at ENCAD and The Upper Deck Company. She also held human resources roles at Taco Bell Corporate and General Electric.

Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ:TXN) announced Gabriel Flores has been elected a vice president of the company. Flores joined TI in 1996 and has held several positions within human resources, most recently as human resources director for the company’s Worldwide Sales and Marketing organization.

HNTB Corporation announced that Jeffery Welter has joined as vice president and human resources officer. He most recently was vice president, human resources for DynCorp International.

Hanesbrands Inc. (NYSE: HBI) announced that Kevin W. Oliver, Chief Human Resources Officer notified the Company of his intention to retire. Mr. Oliver will continue to serve as Chief Human Resources Officer until the earlier of December 31, 2013 or such time as a successor has been named and a successful transition has occurred.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NYSE: BMY) announced that Ann Powell Judge will join the company as senior vice president, Human Resources. Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ms. Judge was chief human resources officer at Shire Pharmaceuticals. Before Shire, Ms. Judge was corporate vice president, Human Resources, for the PharmaEleni Z. Antoniouceutical Division at Wyeth. Previously, she spent 13 years at The Dow Chemical Company.

Vocus, Inc. (NASDAQ: VOCS) announced Holly Paul joined the company as Chief Human Resources Officer

FCi Federal announced the appointment of Eleni Z. Antoniou as its new vice president of human capital. Prior to joining FCi, Antoniou was with High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTi). HPTi was sold to Dynamics Research Corporation (DRC) in 2011.

Examination Management Services, Inc. (EMSI) announced the appointment of Craig Lockett as senior vice president of Human Resources. Lockett joins EMSI from Arrow Electronics, a Fortune 200 company with more than 15,000 employees worldwide, where he served as vice president of Human Resources. Lockett has over 20 years of human resources experience and has held senior human resources leadership positions with PepsiCo (Quaker Oats & Frito-Lay Divisions), TYCO International and Phillips Medical Systems, NA.

Verengo Solar announced that Rob Shneer has joined the company as Vice President of Human Resources. Shneer joins Verengo from AECOM, where he was the Vice President of Human Resources. Shneer’s prior experience includes Human Resources executive positions at rapid growth companies including MedAssets, and EarthLink.

AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies (AMFC) announced that it has hired Elizabeth Reeves as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Reeves comes to AMFC from XL Group, where she served as executive vice president of Human Resources for one of the leading international property and casualty insurers. She previously was chief human resources officer for Liz Claiborne, Lincoln Financial Group and Servicemaster. Additionally, she spent more than 18 years with General Electric and GE Capital.

Benefitdecisions, Inc. announced the hiring of Greg Stobbe as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining Benefitdecisions, Greg was the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for First Commonwealth, Inc. Greg also held the position of Assistant Vice President with Guardian Life Insurance.

Integra Telecom Inc. has hired Felicity O’Herron as senior vice present, human resources. Prior to Integra, O’Herron held various human resources management positions, including nearly 15 years served at Qwest Communications. Her last role at Qwest was as vice president, human resources.

Vante announced that Cindy Florian has been promoted to Vice President, Human Resources and Quality. She was previously Director of Human Resources and Quality at Vante.

Peoples Bank (NASDAQ: PEBO) has promoted Tyler J. Wilcox to Senior Vice President – Director of Human Resources. Wilcox joined Peoples in the legal department in 2008 as Associate Counsel. In 2011, he joined the HR team as Director of Compensation and Benefits, and he was appointed Director of HR in 2012.
