Tupperware Brands Corporation [ORLANDO, FL] (NYSE: TUP) named Beatriz Díaz de la Fuente as the Company’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She will join Tupperware on June 1, 2020. Díaz de la Fuente joins Tupperware Brands following successful careers in human resources at multinational companies including GE and Herbalife Nutrition. Most recently, she was head of human resources at El Palacio de Hierro. Prior to El Palacio de Hierro, Díaz de la Fuente served as Vice President of Finance and Distribution Operations at Herbalife Nutrition.
QBE North America [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Becket McNab as Chief Human Resources Officer. McNab most recently served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Global Operations and Functional groups at Chubb, and previous to that McNab was the Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Chubb Overseas General. Prior to Chubb, she held a variety of senior HR roles with the Richemont Group, Nabisco International and PepsiCo International.
Advanced Energy [DENVER] (NASDAQ: AEIS) hired Rory O’Byrne as senior vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO). Most recently, O’Byrne served as the CHRO at Jonah Energy, LLC in Denver, CO. Prior to that, he was the CHRO for MRC Global, Inc. in Houston, TX.
Consulate Health Care [MAITLAND, FL] announced the appointment of Cindy Chrispell to Chief Human Resources Officer. Chrispell served as an HR consultant for Consulate since 2015. In January of 2020, Cindy joined the company as the interim SVP of HR. From 2008 to 2012, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Sun Healthcare Group, and for seven years prior, served as the Vice President of Human Resources for the western half of the United States at Starbucks Coffee Company.
Gulf Island Fabrication [Houston, TX] (NASDAQ: GIFI) named Thomas Smouse Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. Thomas most recently served as Managing Director – Human Capital for EBL Advisors, a management consulting company. Prior to his time with EBL Advisors, Thomas served as Vice President Human Resources and Administration for Newfield Exploration and served in various human resources leadership positions at Noble Energy, Anadarko Petroleum, BP and Vastar Resources.
Diamond Hill Capital Management [COLUMBUS, Ohio], an independent active asset manager and a subsidiary of Diamond Hill Investment Group, Inc., announced the appointment of Anna Corona as chief people officer. Before joining Diamond Hill, Corona was head of talent and culture for Morningstar Australasia, based in Sydney. Corona began her human resources career at Chicago-based Morningstar in 2003, where she held increasingly senior roles until relocating to Sydney to lead the firm’s human resources there.
Unity Technologies [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Scott Pitasky as Chief People Officer. Before joining Unity, Pitasky was the Vice President of Human Resources supporting Amazon’s largest business, the Worldwide Consumer business. This role was Pitasky’s second stint at Amazon — the first was in 1999. Pitasky also headed up Human Resources at Starbucks and held a number of senior-level HR positions with Microsoft.
Section 32 [SAN DIEGO] announced that Sarah Larson was appointed Chief People Officer. Larson was recently Chief Human Resources Officer and Partner at Third Rock Ventures and prior to that Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Foundation Medicine.
CubicFarm® Systems Corp. [VANCOUVER, BC] (TSX-V:CUB) announced the appointment of Jacqui Noftall as Head of People. Noftall has held executive and senior leadership positions in the finance, higher education, and real estate sectors and has experience building global human resources and operational infrastructure for start-ups, including Citizens Bank (now Vancity Community Investment Bank).
