Moody’s Corporation [NEW YORK] (NYSE: MCO) announced that Melanie Hughes has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer of the Corporation. Prior to joining Moody’s, Ms. Hughes held leadership positions in the US and Europe at companies including American Eagle Outfitters, Tribune, UBS, and Gilt Groupe.
Janet Barnard
Cox Automotive [ATLANTA] named Janet Barnard as chief people officer following the retirement of longtime human resources leader Rock Anderson. During the past three years, Barnard served as president of the company’s Inventory Solutions group. Prior to joining Cox Automotive, Barnard worked at Cox Communications in positions of increasing responsibility and leadership.
MongoDB Inc. [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Dan Heasman as Chief People Officer. Heasman joins MongoDB with more than 20 years of culture and HR leadership working with some of the largest companies in the world such as Coca Cola, Illumina and Pfizer. Prior to MongoDB, Heasman spent more than four years with The Rise Group and more than eight years at ?What If! Innovation.

Barbee brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to On Tap, having previously served in HR leadership roles for Alcon Laboratories, Inc. – a division of Novartis – and for Toyota Financial Services, Raytheon Company, General Mills, Inc. and Dell Computer.
