Sandra Rivera
Intel [SANTA CLARA, Calif.] announced that Sandra Rivera will take on a new role as the company’s chief people officer and executive vice president. Previously, Rivera was responsible for the Network Platforms Group, and served as Intel’s 5G executive sponsor. Rivera replaces Matt Smith, who announced his retirement after more than 20 years at the company in a variety of HR and legal leadership positions, including most recently serving as Intel’s chief human resources officer.
Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. [BURLINGTON, Mass. and PLANO, Texas] (NYSE: KDP) announced the appointment of Mary Beth DeNooyer to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 8, 2019. DeNooyer was most recently Chief Human Resources Officer at Pinnacle Foods Inc., where she joined the Company in 2013 following its initial public offering. Prior to Pinnacle Foods, DeNooyer served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Hillshire Brands and, before then, held key HR roles at Sara Lee, The Pepsi Bottling Group and General Mills. DeNooyer succeeds Meg Newman, who made the decision last month to resign from KDP.

Michelle Roccia
ETQ [Boston] announced it has appointed Michelle Roccia as Chief People Officer. Roccia comes to ETQ from talent acquisition firm WinterWyman, where she spent more than a decade in executive roles, including Executive Vice President of Employee Engagement and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Prior to that, Roccia held executive HR positions at technology companies Authoria and Centive. She started her HR career at Kurzweil Applied Intelligence.
The Ford Foundation [NEW YORK] announced that Diane Samuels will serve as vice president for Talent and Human Resources. Samuels was previously a director in the department and brings over 20 years of experience in the philanthropic, for-profit, and government sectors. She succeeds Samantha Gilbert who served as the foundation’s first vice president in this role. Prior to joining Ford, Samuels served as managing director of operations at the New York State Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery. She also held positions in human resource management at the Rockefeller Foundation for 13 years.

Uzma S. Burki
BitTitan [BELLEVUE, Wash.] announced the hiring of Uzma S. Burki as the company’s new Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to her new position at BitTitan, Burki held an HR executive role with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Burki worked as an HR consultant with Altvia Consulting. Prior to that, she served in HR executive roles with Battelle, Amtrak Corporation and American Red Cross. Burki has also held management positions with Ameriprise, National City Bank and Citigroup.
Paradigm [WALNUT CREEK, Calif.] announced the appointment of Karen Jones to the newly created role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Prior to joining Paradigm, Karen was Senior Vice President, HR Business Partner for Experian, Inc.. Karen has also served as head of HR for product development and sales organizations at Hewlett-Packard Company and Avaya, Inc.
CoStar Group [WASHINGTON] announced the hire of Michael Desmarais to serve as the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Most recently, Mr. Desmarais served as Head of Human Resources for Engineering and Co-Head of Global Business Partners at Goldman Sachs.

Bill Clark
National Vision Holdings, Inc. [DULUTH, Ga.] (NASDAQ: EYE) announced that Bill Clark has joined the company as Chief People Officer. Clark comes to National Vision most recently from Five Below, Inc. where he served as senior vice president of human resources. Prior to that, he served in a variety of human resources and training capacities at retailers including Dollar General, Sam’s Clubs and Walmart. Clark will succeed Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, Jeff Busbee, who is retiring from his role after having served National Vision for 24 years.
RV Retailer, LLC [FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.] announced the appointment of Taylore Elliott as Vice President – Chief Human Resources Officer. Elliott’s experience includes over 15 years of human resources leadership roles at the largest automotive retailer in the United States.
Marqeta [OAKLAND, Calif.] announced the addition of Chief People Officer Barbie Brewer to its executive team. Prior to joining Marqeta, she served as chief culture officer of GitLab, spent six years at Netflix as vice president of talent, and was vice president of human resources at Tiburon. She also spent close to a decade working in human resources at Cisco.
