UPS [ATLANTA] (NYSE: UPS) announced the appointment of Charlene Thomas as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 1, and the retirement of Teri McClure. Charlene began her career at UPS in 1989 and has progressed through successive leadership roles at the company. Charlene also served in roles in global marketing, and in corporate learning and talent development as the U.S. operations training director. Later in her career at UPS, Charlene joined the Desert Mountain District as the West Operations package operations manager. Charlene was subsequently promoted to President, Mid-South District, and later, President of the Atlantic District and later, President, West Region.

Andrea Ledford
IEX Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] announced that it has hired Andrea Ledford as Chief People Officer (CPO). Ms. Ledford joins IEX following 12 years at NCR, most recently as Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer.

Peggy Rubenzer
True Food Kitchen [PHOENIX] announced that Peggy Rubenzer has been named chief people officer. Rubenzer most recently served as senior vice president of people resources for Shake Shack for the past eight years. Before joining Shake Shack in 2011, Rubenzer held leadership positions at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro – first, as vice president of people services from 2002 to 2007, before taking on the role of vice president of training and development from 2007 to 2011. She began her human resources career in 1989 with Southwest Airlines, where she spent 10 years developing an expertise in the selection and training of service employees and corporate management.
AllianceBernstein L.P. and AllianceBernstein Holding L.P. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: AB) announced that Kate Burke, previously Chief Talent Officer and Head of Human Capital, has been appointed Chief Administrative Officer (“CAO”).

Anne-Marie Diouf
Symetra Life Insurance Company [BELLEVUE, Wash.] announced the appointment of Anne-Marie Diouf as senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective July 1, 2019. She will succeed Chris Katzmar Holmes, currently senior vice president, human resources and administration, who will be retiring from Symetra. Diouf joined Symetra in 2000 as a human resources representative. She was promoted to vice president in 2010. Prior to Symetra, Ms. Diouf held HR roles in retail and manufacturing organizations.

Susan Benedict
Stoneridge, Inc. [NOVI, Mich.] (NYSE: SRI) announced Susan Benedict as its new chief human resources officer and assistant general counsel – labor and employment (CHRO). Benedict joined Stoneridge in November 2017 as director of legal. Benedict has experience in automotive manufacturing operations and non-profit programs management. After becoming a lawyer, she served as corporate counsel for Guardian Industries.
Absolute [VANCOUVER, British Columbia] (TSX: ABT) announced the appointment of John Robinson as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). John is a former U.S. Marine with a long and successful career in human resources, most recently at Tapestry Solutions, a software subsidiary of Boeing. Prior to that, Robinson was the global HR director for a large division of the global engineering company, Black & Veatch.

Gianna Driver
BlueVine [REDWOOD CITY, Calif.] announced that it has appointed Gianna Driver as Chief People Officer. Before joining BlueVine, she served as Vice President of HR and People Operations at Aristocrat.
