Dennis Berger
Suffolk [BOSTON] has hired Dennis Berger as its Chief Culture Officer. Prior to joining Suffolk, Mr. Berger was a key partner in CDW Corporation’s transformational growth. In addition, Mr. Berger spent more than 12 years in the Pepsi system, most recently as head of U.S. Human Resources at PepsiAmericas, Inc.

Dana Bradley
George Washington University [Washington, DC] announced that Dana Bradley, associate vice president for human resources at Northwestern University, will become GW’s first-ever chief people officer (CPO). Bradley begins Sept. 3.
Public Service Enterprise Group [NEWARK, N.J.] (NYSE: PEG) announced that Margaret “Peggy” Pego, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer, will retire at the end of 2019. Sheila Rostiac, Vice President Total Rewards and Talent Management, will transition to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer role beginning Sept. 2. Rostiac is in her 19th year with PSEG, serving in her current role since 2016. She also has served as president of the PSEG Foundation and has held a variety of Human Resources, Accounting, and Finance roles. Outside of PSEG, she held key roles in global human resources at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals and financial roles with Jersey Central Power & Light and Arthur Andersen & Co.

Ricardo Pravda
Catalent [SOMERSET, N.J.] announced it has appointed Ricardo Pravda as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources (HR) Officer. Pravda succeeds Lance Miyamoto who retired on June 30 and is currently serving as an advisor to the company. Since joining Catalent as HR Director for Latin America in 2005, Mr. Pravda held several leadership roles supporting multiple businesses and locations, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for Catalent’s network of over 30 sites globally. Pravda has more than 25 years’ experience across multiple HR disciplines and has supported businesses in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific, holding roles of increasing responsibility in companies like Abbott Laboratories, Phillip Morris International, Nabisco International, BellSouth International and The Gillette Company.

Anne Melaragni
Norfolk Southern Corporation [NORFOLK, Va.] (NYSE: NSC) announced that Anne Melaragni has been named vice president human resources, effective July 29. Prior to joining Norfolk Southern, Melaragni served for 15 years in various roles of progressive responsibility at a leading global provider of transportation and logistics services.
Gilead Sciences, Inc. [FOSTER CITY, Calif.] (NASDAQ: GILD) announced that Katie Watson, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, will be departing Gilead. Jyoti Mehra has been named Executive Vice President, Human Resources, and will assume responsibility for the worldwide HR function. Effective August 5, Ms. Mehra will be appointed as Ms. Watson’s successor. Ms. Watson will depart Gilead on September 1, remaining with Gilead in an advisory capacity through the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition. Ms. Mehra joined Gilead in 2017 as Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to joining Gilead, she held positions of increasing seniority at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. and Eli Lilly & Co.

Angie Demchenko
Cresco Labs Inc. [CHICAGO] (CSE: CL, OTCQX: CRLBF) announced that Angie Demchenko has joined the Company as its first Chief People Officer. Ms. Demchenko most recently served as Vice President, Head of Human Resources for Starwood Retail Partners. Prior to Starwood Retail Partners, Ms. Demchenko served as Vice President, Human Resources for GGP (General Growth Properties). From 2008-2016, Ms. Demchenko served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Jones Lang LaSalle. Ms. Demchenko began her career as Human Resources Manager in the Global Business Services Group at Accenture.
XpresSpa Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: XSPA) announced that Scott Milford has joined the Company as Chief People Officer. Most recently, he served as VP, People Operations at SoulCycle. Prior to that, he served as Chief People Officer for Bayada. Previously, he was Senior Vice President – Human Resources for Le Pain Quotidien. His other relevant experiences include senior Human Resource leadership positions at Town Sports International, Starbucks Coffee Company, Universal Music Group, Viacom, and Blockbuster Entertainment.
