ABM Industries [NEW YORK] (NYSE: ABM) announced that effective Andrew Block has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), replacing Dave Goodes who is leaving ABM for personal reasons. Andrew comes to ABM from Buffalo Wild Wings where he oversaw all of HR as Senior Vice President, Talent and Organizational Performance. Prior to that, Andrew led Human Resources activities and Talent Strategy for C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc.
Hawaiian Airlines [HONOLULU] announced the appointment of Jim Lynde to the role of senior vice president – human resources. Lynde fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Barbara Falvey, who oversaw Hawaiian’s HR team for nearly 13 years. Lynde has held numerous executive positions and most recently served as vice president and chief human resources officer at California-based aviation company JetSuite. Previously, Lynde worked at Spirit Airlines, Sagittarius Brands, Darden Restaurants and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
MorseLife Health System [West Palm Beach, FL] hired Richard Kropp as CHRO. Prior to joining MorseLife, Richard was the VP for Human Resources with Prospect Medical Holdings hospitals in Providence RI and Waterbury CT. He also served as VP HR for Lourdes Health System in Camden, NJ and as CHRO for Caritas Christi Health System in Boston, MA.
Wells Fargo & Company [SAN FRANCISCO] (NYSE: WFC) announced that it has named David Galloreese as head of Human Resources. Galloreese will join the company July 9 and will be based in San Francisco. He most recently served as head of people (chief HR officer) for Sam’s Club and the head of talent for Walmart. Before joining Walmart, Inc., Galloreese led HR at Medallia. He previously served as senior vice president of HR for the Nevada Region of Caesar’s Entertainment. He also held HR leadership roles for MGM Resorts International and Macy’s, Inc.
Exxon Mobil Corporation [IRVING, Texas] (NYSE: XOM) announced that Malcolm Farrant, vice president of human resources, has elected to retire after 35 years of service. The company appointed Tracey Gunnlaugsson, president of SeaRiver Maritime Inc., as vice president of human resources, effective August 1, 2018. Gunnlaugsson joined Exxon Shipping in 1991 as a U.S. merchant marine deck officer and held various positions within SeaRiver and ExxonMobil Refining and Supply Company before becoming manager of U.S. products supply operations in 2004. In 2007, she returned to the shipping organization as commercial operations manager and in 2008, moved to Exxon Mobil Corporation headquarters in Irving, Texas, where she held a variety of advisory positions in investor relations, safety and environment, and strategic planning. In 2012, she became pipelines and distribution manager for Imperial Oil in Calgary, Canada and in 2014, returned to ExxonMobil Refining and Supply as manager of product optimization for the Americas. In 2016, Gunnlaugsson was appointed to her current position as president and CEO of SeaRiver Maritime, Inc., an ExxonMobil marine affiliate.
The RiteScreen Company, LLC [ELIZABETHVILLE, Pa.] announced that Teal Gaylord has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Human Resources. Gaylord joins RiteScreen following her role as Director of Human Resources for Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass).
Ranir [GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.] appointed Julie Nass as vice president of global human resources. Most recently, she served as North America vice president of human resources for Tarkett. Nass’ experience also includes leadership positions at dollar companies such as Broadwind Energy, Inc. and Whirlpool Corporation.
EPIC Holdings, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO and STAMFORD, Conn.] (parent company of EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants) announced the addition of Janine Walter who will join as the firm’s Chief Talent Officer. Prior to joining EPIC, Walter was SVP, Director of Human Resources at OdysseyRe in Stamford, Conn. Earlier in her career Walter held senior Human Resources positions at multiple organizations, including Crump Insurance and BISYS.
Signet Jewelers Limited [HAMILTON, Bermuda] (NYSE: SIG) announced that Mary Elizabeth Finn has been named Chief People Officer. Finn was previously the Chief Human Resources Officer at Nielsen. Prior to Nielsen, she held several senior-level human resources roles with General Electric.
Atlas Venture [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced that Andrea Armstrong has joined as chief talent officer. Armstrong joins Atlas from C4 Therapeutics. Prior to C4, Andrea was chief human resources officer and vice president of administration at the New York Genome Center. Earlier in her career, Armstrong led recruiting for Infinity Pharmaceuticals and was a vice president at D.P. Parker & Associates.
