Waste Management [HOUSTON] recently hired Tamla Oates-Forney as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Prior to WM, Forney served in numerous positions throughout her 20 years at General Electric including the Senior Executive and Human Resources Director for GE Africa, Chief Diversity Officer for GE Appliances & Lighting, and most recently, Vice President of Human Resources for GE Energy Connections.
Boardwalk Pipeline Partners [HOUSTON] announced that Mercy Kamps has been promoted to the Senior Management Team, where she will serve as Boardwalk’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Communications and Investor Relations. Mercy previously served as Boardwalk’s Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and led the Legal Operations team.
The Trade Desk [LOS ANGELES] (NASDAQ: TTD) announced the appointment of Shelley Zajic as Chief Talent Officer. Previously, she served as Global Head of Human Resources at the Patrón Spirits Company. Prior to Patrón, Shelley held human resource leadership roles at Apollo Education Group, Schottenstein Stores Corporation, and UnitedHealth Group, among others.
EnsembleIQ [CHICAGO] announced that it has appointed Ann Jadown as Chief Human Resources Officer. Jadown joins EnsembleIQ from Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas.
Echo Global Logistics, Inc. [CHICAGO] (NASDAQ: ECHO) announced that Paula Frey has been named Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to working at Echo, Ms. Frey worked at the Education Corporation of America as EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer. From 2008 to 2015, Ms. Frey worked at Sears Holdings Corporation in multiple roles, including Senior HR Business Partner and Vice President of Human Resources, as well as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer. For 19 years, Ms. Frey was Senior Director of Human Resources at Motorola, where she worked in Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management.
Dynata [DALLAS] announced that Dawn Hirsch is joining the company as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Before joining Dynata, Hirsch was Chief Human Resources Officer at HireRight. She also held senior positions at inVentiv Health, Lend Lease and Thomson Reuters.
Cedilla Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced the appointment of Andrew Dawson as chief human resources officer. Dawson joins Cedilla after having served in senior roles of increasing scope and responsibility at Shire, Roche, Novartis, Eli Lilly and TripAdvisor. Most recently, he was a senior vice president and head of human resources at Enzyvant.
Clinical Innovations [SALT LAKE CITY] announced it has hired Jason Whetstone as vice president of human resources. Whetstone was most recently the senior director of human resources for Polaris Industries’ Engineering and Lean organizations. He previously worked in HR for General Mills for more than a decade.

Jeff VanHaitsma
Meritage Hospitality Group, Inc. [GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.] (OTCQX: MHGU) announced the promotion of Jeff VanHaitsma to Vice President of Human Resources. VanHaitsma joined Meritage in 2014 as Director of Organizational Development. He grew his talent management and human resources experience at Herman Miller, Family Christian Stores and Amway.
Eta Compute Inc. [WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.] announced that Leon Bezdikian joined the company as vice president of human resources. During his career he held vice president, human resources positions with InvenSense, Inc., Inphi Corporation, SiBEAM, and other fast-growing technology companies.
Cetera [LOS ANGELES] appointed Jeannie Finkel as Chief Human Resources Officer. Finkel most recently held the position of Chief Administrative Officer at Cydcor. Jeannie has previously served as a senior HR leader, business focused executive team member and trusted advisor to senior management for companies such as Charles Schwab, Countrywide Financial and Trust Company of the West.
Oportun [SAN CARLOS, Calif.] announced it has appointed Robin Lykins as its Chief People Officer. Lykins joins Oportun after having served in a number of senior roles at Verifone, most recently as Chief People Officer. Prior, she held executive leadership positions at Risk Management Solutions (RMS), MegaPath, California Eastern Laboratories, Trazar Corporation, and Applied Materials. She began her career in HR roles with Nordstrom and Macy’s.
