Cabot Microelectronics Corporation [Aurora, IL] (NASDAQ: CCMP) announced the appointment of Eleanor Thorp, Vice President, Human Resources, effective September 17, 2018.  Ms. Thorp rejoins Cabot Microelectronics Corporation after serving as the Head of Human Resources and Recruiting at Sephora Digital SEA, from 2015 through 2018, based in Singapore.  Prior to that, Ms. Thorp was Cabot Microelectronics’ Human Resources Director of Asia Pacific from 2013 through 2015.  Before joining Cabot Microelectronics Corporation, she was Head of Human Resources and Recruiting at Frontier Strategy Group, and also spent time in executive search, working across a wide range of industries, based first in London and then in New York.

Vixxo [SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.] has named René Bonin as senior vice president, chief human resources officer. René joins the company from Iron Mountain, where she held various roles driving HR strategy. She began her career at international law firm WilmerHale, where she spent more than five years honing her deep expertise across all major HR disciplines.

Compass Minerals [OVERLAND PARK, Kan.] (NYSE: CMP) has named Angela Jones senior vice president, people and culture. Jones joined Compass Minerals as vice president, human resources, in January 2018, bringing to the company more than 13 years of human resources experience and more than 16 years in operations. Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Jones served as vice president human resources at both Rembrandt Enterprises and ConAgra Brands, Inc. In addition to her human resources experience, Angela also has significant operations experience, having held roles such as director of operations and plant general manager for The Clorox Company as well as progressively responsible supply chain and operations roles with Proctor & Gamble.

Cognosante [FALLS CHURCH, VA.] announced the appointment of Jennifer Bailey as Chief People Officer. Bailey joins Cognosante from Perspecta, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources for the past four years. Prior to Perspecta, Bailey spent 13 years at Vangent Inc. which was later acquired by General Dynamics Information Technology, where she was Vice President of HR for the Health and Civilian Solutions Division.

Smarsh [PORTLAND, Ore.] announced the hiring of Suzanne Rudnitzki as the company’s Chief People Officer (CPO). Rudnitzki comes to Smarsh from Telecare Corporation, where she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Suzanne previously served as a consultant for Xerox Corp., facilitated the international intrapreneurial leadership training for Procter & Gamble, and developed training curriculum and provided consulting for Nissan, General Motors, Herman Miller and Magna Corporation.
