Unum [CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee] (NYSE: UNM) announced that Elizabeth Ahmed has been appointed executive vice president of People and Communication for the company. Ahmed was Chief Human Resources Officer at AmTrust Financial Services. Ahmed has also held HR leadership positions at Equity Administration Services, PNC Bank and Marsh USA.

Hallmark [KANSAS CITY, Mo.] announced that Beth Sweetman has been appointed senior vice president of human resources. Sweetman most recently served as senior vice president and chief human resources officer for DST Systems, Inc. Sweetman replaces Bob Bloss, who is retiring from the company and will depart Jan. 2, 2019. Prior to joining Hallmark, Sweetman’s aforementioned appointment at DST Systems, Inc. came after serving as senior vice president of human resources for Furniture Brands International. In addition, she spent 14 years working in human resources for Monsanto Company, both as vice president of North America and vice president of international.

BETA Healthcare Group [ALAMO, Calif.] announced that John E. McClain has been named Director of Human Resources. He will be replacing Deborah Verdream who is retiring after 12 years of service to BETA Healthcare Group. McClain most recently held the position of Human Resources Director at SAGE Veterinary Centers. Previously, he spent 23 years at NORCAL Mutual in San Francisco leading human resources and facilities, ending his tenure there as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.

ViewRay, Inc. [CLEVELAND] (NASDAQ: VRAY) announced the appointment of Robert M. Fuchs as Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining ViewRay, Rob was the Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources Officer for Advanced Energy. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources Officer for Spectranetics.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. [Ramsey, NJ] announced that Victoria (Vicky) Ringwood has joined the company as senior vice president of Human Resources. Ringwood most recently led HR for the Mobile Division of Samsung Electronics Americas. Ringwood previously worked with companies including, Tyco International, American Standard and Honeywell.
