Tractor Supply Company [BRENTWOOD, TN] (NASDAQ: TSCO) announced that Melissa Kersey has been named Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 20, 2020. Kersey most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer for McDonald’s USA. Before joining McDonald’s in 2017, Kersey held a number of executive-level roles with Walmart from 2008 to 2017, including Senior Vice President of Global HR Transformation and People Services, Senior Vice President and Chief HR Officer, US Stores, and Senior Vice President of Learning and HR Strategy. Prior to Walmart, Kersey spent eight years with Alltel and four years with Target in Operations, Distribution, Human Resources and Technology roles. Kersey replaces interim Chief Human Resources Officer Brian Evans, who has announced his plans to retire in the early fall of 2020.
Veritex Community Bank [DALLAS] announced that Cara McDaniel has been named Senior Executive Vice President and Chief HR/Talent Officer. For the last decade she has served as Executive Vice President, Head of Human Resources and Talent Strategy at Texas Capital Bank. Prior to that she held the position of National Head of Human Resources for Citi’s US Commercial Bank.
Boeing [CHICAGO] (NYSE: BA) named Michael D’Ambrose as executive vice president of Human Resources, effective July 6. He will succeed Wendy Livingston, who has served in an interim capacity since April. D’Ambrose joins Boeing from ADM. He has served as senior vice president and chief human resources officer at ADM since 2006. Prior to that, he led global human resources teams at companies such as Citigroup, First Data and Toys ‘R’ Us. Livingston will resume her previous role as vice president, Corporate Human Resources.
Mazars USA LLP [NEW YORK] announced that Keri Fleming has joined the organization as Chief People Officer. Keri succeeds Julie Venkat, who is retiring. Prior to joining Mazars USA, Keri was the Chief Human Resources Officer at a large national manufacturing and retail organization. Previously, Keri spent 15 years at a Big Four accounting firm where she held roles of increasing responsibility focused in areas such as university recruiting, onboarding and assimilation, talent management, compensation and benchmarking, learning and development, internal communication, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and succession planning. Her tenure culminated in a role as the East Region Tax HR Director, serving on the Functional Executive Leadership Team.
