Orbia [Boston, MA] announced that Deb Butters has joined the company as Senior Vice President & Chief People Officer. Butters joins Orbia from PerkinElmer, where she served as their Chief Human Resources Officer for the past 4 years. Prior to PerkinElmer, Butters had a 17-year career with IBM in both the US and Europe, where she most recently served as Vice President HR of IBM’s North America business and VP People Strategy.
Vanguard [VALLEY FORGE, PA] announced that John James, will move from his current role as chief human resources officer to lead the Institutional Investor Group. Lauren Valente has been appointed as chief human resources officer and managing director. Valente joined Vanguard in 2003, and has held a range of leadership roles across the firm’s Corporate, Institutional, Retail, and Information Technology divisions. Over the last five years, Ms. Valente has worked with defined contribution clients, overseeing Vanguard Retirement Plan Experience and, most recently, leading Participant Services and Operations.
Covetrus [PORTLAND, ME] (NASDAQ: CVET) announced that it has promoted Ditte Marstrand Wulf to global chief human resources officer, effective August 1, 2020. Prior to her appointment, Marstrand Wulf served as the company’s European vice president of human resources. Marstrand Wulf joined Covetrus in 2019. Prior to her time with the company she served as the group chief human resources officer for BMI Group Ltd. She has also led diversity and inclusion efforts at RSA Ltd, a global insurance service provider as well as at Microsoft where she had several international HR Director positions. In addition, she was a diversity and inclusion advisor to her home country of Denmark’s ministry of foreign affairs.
CareFinders Total Care [HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ] announced that Erika Duncan has joined the company as their new chief people officer (CPO). Duncan was most recently CHRO at Trinity Health’s Northeast group. Prior to Trinity Health, Erika held several HR executive roles at large healthcare service organizations in Michigan including Metro Health, and Spectrum Health.
DoiT International [SANTA CLARA, CA] announced the naming of Kristen Tronsky as Chief People Officer. Tronsky joins DoiT International from VMware, where she served most recently as Chief of Staff for CloudHealth Technologies after their successful acquisition. Prior to CloudHealth’s acquisition to VMWare, Tronsky led Global Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. She joined CloudHealth in early 2016. Tronsky previously held Human Resources leadership positions at Altisource Labs, and Sophos.
Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) [PADUCAH, KY] (OTCQX: CSVI) named Charmaine Smith the company’s new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Prior to joining CSI, Charmaine was the vice president of human resources at Samsung Austin Semiconductor.
Advisor360° [WESTON, MA] announced the hire of Meredith Crouse as Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer. Crouse previously served as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Internal Communications for Monster Worldwide. She also served as Global Head of Human Resources and Internal Communications for Clarivate Analytics and Thomson Reuters’ IP and Science business.
Flagstar Bank [TROY, MI] named David W. Hollis executive vice president and chief human resources officer. Most recently he served as chief talent officer at Goodyear Tire and Rubber. Previously, he was chief human resources officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles with PNC Financial Services, National City Bank, and Sears Roebuck & Co.
