Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) [RESTON, Va.] (NYSE: SAIC) announced it has appointed Michelle A. O’Hara as the company’s chief human resources officer effective October 1, 2019. O’Hara succeeds Karen Wheeler, who is retiring from SAIC. O’Hara is currently human resources senior vice president.
DiscoverOrg and ZoomInfo [VANCOUVER, Wash.] announced the appointment of Alyssa Lahar as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Lahar joins the company following 19 years at Dell Technologies (formerly EMC Corporation), most recently as Vice President of Human Resources in Dell’s Storage Division. Previously, Lahar served as a Senior Director for Human Resources in the Global Engineering and Sales & Presales divisions at Dell EMC. Lahar is based in Waltham, MA.
ANSYS [PITTSBURGH] (NASDAQ: ANSS) has named Julie Murphy as its vice president of human resources. Prior to joining ANSYS, Murphy was the chief human resources officer for Tradesmen International. She previously worked for such companies as Westinghouse, Heinz, Blue Cross Blue Shield and PWC.
AML RightSource [Cleveland] appointed Courtney Abraham to the role of Chief People Officer. Abraham has experience with diverse industries including staffing, consulting, retail, insurance, and technology.
HireRight [IRVINE, Calif.] announced the appointment of Chelsea Pyrzenski as Chief Human Resources Officer. Pyrzenski joins HireRight from VIZIO, where she served as the Head of Human Resources. Prior to VIZIO, Ms. Pyrzenski held HR leadership roles at the National Football League (NFL), AT&T and DIRECTV.
Lockton [KANSAS CITY, Mo.] announced that Dondi Dix is its new senior vice president- chief people officer. Dix joins Lockton from Dairy Farmers of America, where she was the vice president of human resources, talent and organization development. Prior to this role, she spent more than five years at Sprint in various talent and business transformation roles before becoming the chief of staff to the chief operating officer. Earlier in her career, Dix spent over a decade with Accenture. She also served in the U.S. Army as a Captain.
