Walmart Inc. [BENTONVILLE, Arkansas] appointed Donna Morris as executive vice president and chief people officer. Morris joined Walmart from Adobe, where she served as chief human resources officer and executive vice president of employee experience. Morris joined Adobe in 2002. She also serves on the board of directors of Marvell Technology.
Impossible Foods [REDWOOD CITY, Calif.] hired biotech executive Brian Miller as Chief People Officer. Miller joins Impossible Foods after a decade at Gilead Sciences, where he served in numerous leadership roles, most recently Vice President for Talent, Development & Inclusion. Before that, he worked for Amgen, where he was the Global Head and Director Learning & Development. He was previously Founder and CEO of E3-Services.
Magenta Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] (NASDAQ: MGTA) announced the hire of Kristen Stants as Chief People Officer. Stants joins Magenta from Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where she served as Head of Talent Strategy. Prior to that, she led talent management and development strategy at Patheon Pharmaceuticals, in addition to 10 years at Biogen, where she held various leadership roles in executive development and organizational effectiveness.
EVP Eyecare [DENVER, Colorado] announced that Benjamin A. Novy has joined the company as Chief People Officer (CPO). Most recently, Novy served as Vice President of HR at Vail Resorts. Early in his career, he held senior HR leadership roles at Northrop Grumman and TRW.
Innovation [Johnson City, NY] hired Dionne Archie as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Archie recently led her own firm, Transform HR Consulting. She has over 20 years of in-depth human resource experience with Baxalta, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Walgreens, Time Warner Cable, SBC, and Manpower.
G&A Partners [HOUSTON] announced the appointment of Michelle Mikesell as its vice president of corporate human resources. Mikesell has 15 years of experience in the PEO industry leading multiple top-performing teams within various departments for another national PEO firm.
Resources Connection, Inc. [IRVINE, Calif.] announced the appointment of Katy Conway as the company’s new Chief People Officer (CPO). Conway previously served as RGP’s Senior Vice President for Talent.
PTC [BOSTON] (NASDAQ: PTC) announced that Jill Larsen has joined the company as its chief human resources officer. Prior to PTC, Jill served in leadership roles at international technology companies including Cisco and EMC.
Stewart Information Services Corporation [HOUSTON] announced that Emily Kain, Senior Human Resources Director, is being promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer. Kain joined Stewart Title in 2014 as manager of associate onboarding. Kain replaces Ann Manal. Prior to joining Stewart, Kain held positions in recruiting, staffing and employee development at Deloitte, National Oilwell Varco and BP America in Houston and at IBM in Dubai, UAE.
Erie Insurance [ERIE, Pa.] appointed Sean Dugan to senior vice president, Human Resources. Dugan most recently served as corporate human resources officer for ERIE. His prior leadership roles include vice president of Talent Acquisition and Community Outreach, vice president of Recruiting and vice president of Corporate Training and Development.
Grabango [BERKELEY, Calif.] announced the appointment of Saralynn Malott as the company’s vice president of human resources. She comes to Grabango with over 15 years of growth experience, people operations management, and successful team leadership in the technology and e-commerce industries.
CarGurus [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] (NASDAQ: CARG) announced the appointment of Andrea Eldridge as Chief People Officer. Prior to joining CarGurus, Eldridge was Senior Vice President of Talent and Employee Experience at Cengage Learning. Prior to Cengage, she held various leadership positions in talent and general management at Ahold USA, and served in marketing roles at Digitas.
Brightcove, Inc. [BOSTON] (NASDAQ: BCOV) announced the appointment of Amee Desjourdy as Chief People Officer. Desjourdy joins Brightcove from biotech company Quanterix, where she served as its Chief People and Culture Officer. Prior to that role, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer for Global Partners LP.
Frequency Therapeutics, Inc. [WOBURN, Mass.] (NASDAQ: FREQ) announced that Wendy Arnold has joined the company as Chief People Officer. Arnold joins Frequency from Kaleido BioSciences, where she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to that she held senior roles in the human resources organization at Moderna Therapeutics, and she brings experience from her roles at Celgene, Predictive Biosciences and Inotek Pharmaceuticals and work at other small to mid-size public and private companies.
Seiler LLP [REDWOOD CITY, Calif.] announced that it has promoted Lupita McLane, formerly the firm’s Director of Human Resources, to Chief People Officer. McLane joined Seiler in 2006 and was named Director of Human Resources in 2015.
Compass [NEW YORK] announced that Sara Patterson will join as Chief People Officer. Patterson brings expertise across human resources, talent management and digital innovation from category-changing brands like Bonobos, Conde Nast, Gilt Groupe and more. Patterson joins Compass after serving as Chief People Officer at Bonobos. After overseeing Bonobos’ integration with Walmart in 2017, her role expanded to Vice President of HR and Talent Management for Walmart eCommerce.
Keyera Corp. [CALGARY] (TSX: KEY) announced the promotion of Dion Kostiuk, Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Services, will be appointed Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Services, effective March 1, 2020.
